Publisher's summary

New York Times best-selling author Tanya Anne Crosby returns to the salt marshes and crumbling plantations of Charleston, where a gruesome murder and kidnapping reawaken fears of a serial killer on the loose....

Augusta Aldridge believes in Ian Patterson's innocence, even after he was arrested for killing two young women. She was with him the night one of the crimes occurred, hidden in the shadows beneath a beachside pier, locked in a wild, unthinking embrace with a man whose dangerous fascination may have fatally lured other victims. Now that another body has been discovered, and a 13-year old boy has gone missing, the police suspect a copycat killer, but Augusta is certain they have the wrong man. She's going to risk her reputation - and her life - to prove Ian's innocence and save young Cody. But the clock is ticking....

A fantastic low country story by Tanya Anne Crosby

I read/listened to this book twice and loved every minute.
It has murder, love, sibling rivalry and a serial killer. Just how did all of that come together? Just beautifully.
Three sisters trying to work out past issues with each other and add to the mix they ALL had issues with their deceased mother who left chores for them to complete to win the $27 M inheritance.
Throw in a serial killer and you have a really fantastic Low Country mystery; oh, yes, there is also a love story.
Enjoy, I surely did.

Thank you, Tanta Anne.

Tell No Lies

One of the best books I’ve ever read. I was very pleasantly surprised by how well this audiobook pulled me into the story. A Very “Do not miss.! I was sitting on the edge of my chair the entire time, waiting to see How it would end. It is very well narrated by Julie McKay!

This narrator is horrid.

Her lifeless, monotone, dead voice killed what could have been a good story. Her attempt at character voices and her constant failure to give any humanity to the book, took away from its very content. I will do everything in my power to stay away from her voice. SHIT
