Fun, balanced and luxurious performance. Laughs!

Loads of action and catty dialog, shady and not so shady characters with noble or not so noble intentions. The authentic period sound effects compliment the reading and voice performance without overwhelming or distracting from the story. Similar to era favorites like Bogie and Becall era performances in the movies.

Exciting stories that carry me along

I love the collection. Each story is exciting. I like the characters and how the heroes are not Snow White while being on the right side of Justice. The heroines are dangerous and intriguing. Overall it’s just nice, clean entertainment.

this is a very well done retelling of these stories and I hope that everyone has a chance to listen to them. if you like stories from the Gold age of fiction you will love these.
