About this listen
I’ve waited for her for more than a century.
Sarah is my second chance at love and I’m not about to let her go.
I was shattered when the wolves killed my woman 100 years ago.
But Sarah’s soul has healed me.
I’m drawn to her in a way that seems unreal.
But the ghosts of my past still linger.
I’ll have to overcome countless dangers for her.
She’s the one for me...and I’ll do whatever it takes to make her mine.
Fans of Terry Bolryder, T.S. Joyce, Candace Ayers, Zoe Chant, and Harmony Raines will like this shifter series.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

It’s 1984, and life has changed beyond recognition. Airstrip One, formerly known as Great Britain, is a place where Big Brother is always watching, and nobody can hide. Except, perhaps, for Winston Smith. Whilst working at the Ministry of Truth, rewriting history, he secretly dreams of freedom. And in a world where love and sex are forbidden, where it’s hard to distinguish between friend and foe, he meets Julia and O’Brien and vows to rebel.

Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he’s alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Story
In the not-too-distant future, a 21-member crew launches from Earth. Their mission: to establish a temporary colony on Mars. Little do they know that colony will become permanent–and the last stand of the human race. Because, without warning, every single person left on Earth simply...vanishes. Now, a thousand years later, the resources needed to sustain life are running out, and the very existence of the Mars colony is threatened. Humankind has only one option–to return to its home planet.

Deja vu all over again?
Nathanial Snow is one of the dragons that were trapped in a spell for over 200 years. Now that they have been released they must find allies to help them in their fight with the wolves that caused their entrapment. The dragons are sure that more groups are being magically held somewhere, but where?
Sarah Jensen is eerily like that woman that Nathanial loved 200 years ago. A member of the same family, Sarah donated the house that Maria once lived in to the Historical Society and lives in a small apartment above it. When a strange man shows up and saves her from falling down a flight of stairs, she is not sure why she is immediately infatuated with him. He seems to be just as smitten with her, at least until he suddenly runs out.
Nathanial cannot believe that Sarah is his mate. He had known that Maria was not, even though he didn't tell his brothers that at the time. He had tried to force the mating bond to form with her, but it never had. He knew now what the bond felt like and Sarah was his for sure. Now all he had to do was convince a human woman that he was her mate, and a dragon to boot. On top of that he had to protect her from the wolves and hope that she could help them solve the riddle about where other dragons were trapped.
I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

What are the wolves main objective?
This is the second book in this series, Dragon Elements. I knew that Nathanial was going to be an interesting character and he did not disappoint. Nathanial is just trying to learn more about this world and is still heartbroken about the 'love of his life, Mary'. He believes that she was the one for him, even though he dragon did not scream at him to claim her.
When a mystery is thrown his way he is tasked to find out how to release the Fire Dragons. There he meets Sarah, a descendant of Mary. He is at alls trying to recolie why he and his dragon feel such longing for Sarah when they both did not feel the same about Mary. After some talking with Gail and some soul searching he realizes that he was never in love with Mary but in fact just in lust.
Throughout this story the werewolves have lost all rational thought. It looks like there is going to be war and also the wolves have been doing naughty things for centuries. I am looking forward in seeing what the wolves have done in their entirety.
The narration was bad. I loved the narration of Blaine, but it seems as though someone else took over. It is very easy for a story to come across chessy especially for a paranormal book. If I was not so accustomed to Sarah J. Stone's writing I would feel this book was just that. I cannot listen to another book narrated by him.
