Publisher's summary

Kate Bishop is in a world of trouble. In the wake of several inexplicable and brutal murders, Kate is thrust into a police inquiry that reveals shocking family secrets. Suddenly exposed to a shadowy network of global evil, her life takes a dramatic turn with the arrival of Jack Raines, an author with a mysterious past who says he has the answers to her questions. What's more, he suggests that Kate herself might be the solution.

But hot on their heels are a force of superpredators, vicious and bloodthirsty killers who will stop at nothing until Kate and Jack are eliminated. Like Jack, they've realized just how special Kate is, and now she's marked for death.

An explosive mix of action and suspense, Nest is a landmark new novel from worldwide best-selling author Terry Goodkind and a complete reinvention of the paranormal thriller. Travel with Goodkind on a dangerous journey to the back alleys of the darknet, to the darkest corners of our minds, and to the very origins of what it is to be human, a place few have ventured to and fewer still have survived.

Thank you Terry Goodkind

This was one of the best thrillers that I have read in a very long time. Terry Goodkind hit this one out of the park can't wait for the next book

Interesting direction Terry took here.

Things are starting to get a bit redundant just as they did with Ayn Rand and likely for the same reasons. The new way Terry brings us the world of the Amnels and Rhals here is an interesting change of pace though not entirely different than what Terry did with The Law of Nines in a significant way. Still glad I read it though and look forward to the next thanks to the cliffhanger ending.

Good suspenseful book

The book goes into very gory details and is disturbing. Not as gruesome me as some, but very suspenseful and scary. It definitely kept my attention through the end.

Very good

I absolutely enjoyed the story, it had me listening everyday. Though all of the bad guys sounded alike but that was ok.

One of his best books

Loved The Wizards first rule series, this is even better. The set up is a bit slow, but it ends in spectacular fashion!

Thrilling from start to finish

I have read every book by Goodkind and found Nest to have the same intensity as the Sword of Truth series. Rich character details and a compelling story, made this an exciting book.
