About this listen

I'm stuck in the friend zone with the hottest guy I've ever known. Oh, and he's my best friend.

Zach pushes me away the moment sparks fly, and sparks have been flying since the day we met. For some aggravating reason, he's intentionally keeping me at a distance.

The way I see it, I have two options. I can leave town and make a fresh start, or I can show Zach how right we are for each other. The problem is, one of those options has the potential to ruin the best friendship I've ever had.

But I'm considering risking it all for love.

Excerpt:

"Nessa." His voice is a strangled growl.

"This shouldn't be a big deal. You said you're not attracted to me," I remind him.

"I didn't say that."

"You said there's nothing to worry about, and that I should make myself comfortable."

"I didn't think you were gonna skinny-dip."

Short but sweet

I loved it! It's the shortest of the series so far but still feels complete.

surprising

This handled a subject rarely touched upon, that of women who prey on young men. I wish that she had been brought to justice by the end of this, not just threatened. I wish he had confided more of his story. I wish his father hadn't been so nonchalant about the possibility of his son having a relationship with that woman. Also, I didn't like how much the female narrator had to be his voice.

If you are looking for erotica with the emotional maturity of a 16 yo, this is the listen for you

I didn’t enjoy this book, it felt like it started half way through a better developed story, perhaps I missed a prequel somewhere? The characters are emotionally immature and their relationship is over simplified.

This Never Date series has been fun.

I’ve enjoyed the Never Date series. I did not personally enjoy the female narrator or her part as the male. The male she portrayed sounded like a grade schooler to me. The stories have been so fun and interconnected craftily that this is a very small complaint. Thank you so much for all the entertainment. I recommend this series. Enjoy!

Unsure

I have a lot of mix feelings. The storyline is good it's just missing things. There are things that are unanswered. The ending was very sudden, thing happened to fast. The rising action came down to fast. I was left unsatisfied.

Never date series

I like this series for the most part. I enjoy the characters, their backstories and the relationships.
I struggle with the increase in fowl language. In my opinion it is not needed. Maybe I'm old school, but I could do without the sex as well.

ok

a bit disappointing. not much build up story about their friendship, would have like a bit of revisit on the events where they were actually only friends.

story completely under developed emotionally

the Zac personal background a bit weird, shades of Grey vibe but story not well developed to understand his conflict or connection to this/these other women... like in the previous stories Zac was a horn dog in HS so...? and he finds out this big secret that should have effected him but he just takes it and stride and moves on...really? then why was it so important he know the truth?

finally narrators... dispassionate, and again the female sounds like the wicked witch when doing male voices... not as bad as previous but still grating like fingers on a chalk board.

if you don't have te to waste then this is one that can be skipped

Nessa and Zach

A quick, light hearted, sweet romance. Nessa and Zach are adorable and their friendship was cute. I wish it was a little longer but I did enjoy this story.
Zachary Webber was fantastic as always. Emily Bauer has a sweet voice.

bad writing, good acting

the acting made the story slightly engaging. I'm glad this title was free. I definitely would have been upset to waste an audible credit on it
