This is a nice, inspirational book. I enjoyed listening to it. He is a role model!

This book is beyond inspirational. It is filled with hope, humor and perseverance and is a must read for everyone. Robert's strength to improve his life one step at a time makes one realize that's the secret to living our lives. Learning that as a sixteen year old quadriplegic is beyond my comprehension. My heart goes out to him for all of the suffering he has endured, but to be able to maintain his sense of humor and boyishness just makes me realize what an incredible role model he is. Please read his book and learn what it takes to be a hero.

Riveting

I read the paperback version of Never Quit several months ago. It was so good I wanted to read it again but noticed that an audio version was now available, I downloaded the audio book, sat back and listened to the author’s words come alive. I couldn’t have been happier. The narration was excellent. It was, beautifully told, and I preferred the audio to the print copy

Although Mr. Guliani was robbed of the use of his arms and legs at sixteen, he fortified his resolve and made the best of a tragic experience—the consequences of which no one could ever imagine.
It would have been easy for him to blame his circumstances and focus on a “poor me,” attitude. Everyone certainly would have understood—but that was is not him--and it never was!
One sentence caught my attention when the narrator quoted one of Mr. Guliani’s thoughts.
“I was imprisoned in a wheelchair for life. The worst sentence God could dish out. No parole, no pardon, and no time off for good behavior.”
I had to stop and think. I tried to feel the author’s physical and emotional pain but realized I never could. Pain of that magnitude, without hope of change was beyond the realm of my imagination.
Yet, Mr. Guliani’s audio book is not about pain and suffering--not even close. He often passes those moments by in his story in a few words and instead tells us about his college days or his jobs working for Fortune 500 companies.
Embossed with a tenacious real-world attitude, the narrator describes how the author fulfills his dream of examining possibilities and expresses his optimism, He could have done it without the support of his parents, sister, friends, and his wife--they were always there for him.
The story is told with a nice easy style and comfortable to listen to. I highly recommend this audio book to everyone, especially those who blame their circumstances for their misfortunes. Never Quit is one man’s story of how he utilized his God-given tenacity to give himself a fulfilling life. With this audiobook you can relax, close your eyes and hear the story unfold in a pleasant manner. After listening to the Audi version of Never Quit I am convinced Robert Guliani is the richest man alive.

From a Healthy, adventurous 16 year old that was Stricken by a freak accident while playing on the beaches of Long Island, Giuliani takes the reader on a journey where perseverance, love and wit win out over perceived disabilities and fear. Each obstacle that he faced became a challenge that was awoken and motivated him to overcome. Through a brave struggle, Guiliani is living proof that the only disability in life, is a bad attitude. He teaches the reader that Life is good, never quit and enjoy this adventure!!

Inspiring story!

Robert Guliani's story of perseverance through a debilitating accident, his refusal to give up, the incredible love of his family, especially of his wife, Nidia is a remarkable read. He excelled in his career despite continual medical setbacks. He always kept going. I'm not sure I would have the same strength to do so. Ben Werling does an excellent job of narrating Robert's story.

Inspirational

This was a very inspirational listen for me, I was inspired by Robert’s perseverance. It was a good listen.

A wonderful story of courage & strength!

Words cannot express the admiration I have for Robert Guliani. His courage, strength and dedication to “Never Quit” are awe inspiring.
I kept asking myself, would I have the courage to go on? Would I be able to not hate life? I just don’t know if I could before, but I’m confident that after reading his story, I will never quit no matter what life might throw in my path. Thank you Robert!
