Left me wanting more

Enjoyed the book just hate that I don’t know the ending. Overall pretty good. I enjoyed it

I liked the narrating expect when the man did the women voice or than that it was good.

Disappointed

I'm confused after listening to this book. In my experience, each book in the series either tells a new story or introduces new characters. This series has the same characters and plot. It's just a long story told over three books.

Also, the characters don't mature or grow. It seems like their intelligence decrease, and they become more gullible.

I really enjoyed the book, next part please

Never a fail with this author, guaranteed awesome story. I imagined so may different endings and conclusions. I'm anxiously waiting for the next part. hurry, please.

Incredulous must be her favorite word

Incredulous must be this author’s favorite word. She uses it so frequently throughout the book I feel like I want to start keeping count. I wish she would expand her vocabulary and use other words.

Could’ve been better

Pace in book 2 was better than 1 but still somewhat slow. Narrators were good.

Unfinished

This is a slow read with a decent storyline. The performances were OK, but sometimes boring and underwhelming. The ending was absolutely horrible, the author left so many unanswered questions. It’s as if she got a call and never came back to the line.

disappointed with ending

The narrator was good the book held my attn but i was a little disappointed in the ending..they kept building up the calvin murdering lola an then it never happened..an joans relationship with reed had loose ends too.

Voice

I want to start by saying the females voices were dry and I felt as if they were reading a script.

However, the male voice was awesome! I even looked for more books read by him (Sean). He made the character come to life and I felt the words he was saying were believable.

Overall, the story is not that engaging but thanks to audible I got through the book. If I had to read this one I would have put the book down. The female characters are one dimensional while the male character (Calvin) was not. I find myself not caring if Calvin murders Lola. I am more interested in how he rationalizes him thoughts and behaviors.

Great Story. but it just stops

The is the 2nd in a 3 part series. I wish I had known that in the beginning because part 1 Just ended in thr middle of the story which made me upset till I found out it was 3 parts. This 2nd story just stopped as well. Overall it's a good book. though.
