Publisher's summary

When Amanda found out her mother had sent in an application to ABC's The Bachelor on her behalf, she wasn't upset...but she was hesitant.

As a divorced single mom on a long dating hiatus, she didn't think there was any way she could measure up against the competitors. In the back of her mind, her ex's hurtful message reared its ugly head: "You can't divorce me. You'll be 25 and divorced with two kids. No one will want you." But despite the self-doubt, Amanda made it onto Season 20. What nobody knew at the time was that her on-camera date with Ben was her first in almost three years. Talk about pressure!

Ever since she made it to the final four on The Bachelor and ended up engaged on Bachelor in Paradise, media outlets and millions of fans, eager to learn Amanda's story, have tried to track her down. What's he really like? What's the scoop on her? Was she telling the truth about him?

Part-memoir, part girl's guide, Now Accepting Roses is full of never-before-told stories from behind the scenes of one of America's most popular television shows - but this book isn't just for fans of The Bachelor. This book is for anyone navigating the crazy and exciting world of finding real love.

Great Listen

I enjoyed this book and all the tips. I am also a fan of the show so I enjoyed hearing some back stories, however, I think she should focus on using examples from her own life and not using others to bring them down. For example, isn’t Corrine her friend? I wouldn’t have talked about my friend like that! Other than that, I loved the book.

Well done

As an older, divorced mother of two girls and a follower of Bachelor nation, I was surprised at how much I related to Amanda. Funny how you can’t really understand someone until you hear their story. Further testament to why we should all be less quick to judge. The airplane story was spot on and makes me laugh since anyone who has never had to travel alone with young children cannot imagine how stressful it is. Amanda, I think you are brave to put this out there, narrate your own story and to keep finding the positives in life. Keep it up. There are people like me rooting for you.

Part Self Help Book, Part Gossip

This book does share parts of Amanda’s life but she also gives tips and tricks that she’s learned about traveling, dating, packing, beauty products, hair, eyelashes, etc.

Funny, but sometimes unrelatable

Some of the content seemed a bit bougie, which made it seem very unrelatable. She sometimes sounded like someone who became rich off of reality TV. However, other parts of the book were enjoyable and funny.

Loved it!

I’ve been a fan of Amanda’s since she was on Ben’s season. So many people were looking for an entire book dishing about the bachelor/BIP, but it would be weird if she did that without including what she’s learned along the way. I’m glad she included helpful tips to break up the drama she has written about. Well done, Amanda! My boyfriend and I both enjoyed listening to this book.

Not much insight to Bachelor or any juicy gossip

This is more of a girls guide to traveling, having children, and about how she determines her outfits. If you want a good Bachelor book...I recommend Courtney Robertson. She doesn’t hold back.

Book about Instagram followers

Book was boring. Talked about Instagram followers for the most part. I loved parts about her relationships and her daughters, but being “Instagram influencer” is not a job.

Good!

I have followed bachelor nation for years now and have always enjoyed keeping up with Amanda. She keeps it together on social media and is always private about relationships but with this book we finally see she struggles too and it a "real person." I hope there is another book.

Meh

Honestly was excited to listen. Was kinda boring and felt very superficial. Just not a very relatable vibe, and frankly annoying.
