A fascinating book written primarily from a scientific point of view - translation: heavy on the facts, including source material (which I REALLY liked). But it still includes the human element, giving insights into the man himself, along with behind-the-scenes happenings during some of the most significant health related global events in the last 50 years. Enjoyed it.

Unselfish service

A personal view of an extraordinary yet humble doctor, who has dedicated his life and career to this country through service to others. Enjoyed the telling of his story in his own words.

Living history

A well crafted story by a true public servant in the midst of some our country’s most treacherous challenges. Dr. Fauci’s work throughout the AIDS crisis was known to me, but I was not aware of the many other pandemic scares that he navigated with research, compassion, and accurate public education.

Dr. Fauci became the voice of truth and hope during the nightmare of Covid. I am saddened that he and his work have since been politicized and maligned.

Dr. Fauci has maintained his quiet authority and grace in the midst of persecution and chaos. This is the stuff of American heroism.

Congratulations

My thanks to Dr Fauci for an educational book. There were many diseases reviewed. His work was a great gift to the American people. It was interesting see the work that it takes to see the way illness is handled from the time it makes itself known until a method to stop it and repair the damage .

One of the best books I’ve ever read!

Loved learning the back story!!. I first became aware of Dr Fauci’s work as a newly minted RN with the onset of HIV/AIDS in the 1980s. I developed trust & respect for his work and confidence in his advisement, especially when I found myself in charge of a team of Public Health nurses during COVID. Very grateful!

Setting and achieving life goals

Thank you, Dr Fauci, for dedicating your life to the understanding and treatment of obscure and complex diseases so devastating to humanity and then taking the time to explain the processes in such a clear manner. Your book is a gem.

A truly great man!

what a life this man has led. His years fighting AIDS read like a novel. I could feel the pressure he experienced watching people die and not being able to do anything. There is so much more to this man than knowing him through the COVID crisis. I enjoyed every minute of this book.
