Publisher's summary

“It’s overwhelming how much I feel for you after just a short time in your presence. I hope we can weather this time of change, find moments to relish together, and keep trying new things.”

The Village at Crossroad Corners is a tight-knit, traditional, community and a snapshot from the time before technology and big commerce became a mainstay in American culture. The community is rocked when the village council makes the shocking decision to allow a developer to build a dual-aged, residential community, that will house both the elderly and college aged students in a connecting network of buildings. It is an ambitious multi-generational plan, where students and retirees will learn to work together for each other’s benefit. As the development takes shape, new love, fresh starts, and brighter futures all take shape in ways that people never expected.

Aiden is a yuppy who thinks everything in the Village at Crossroads is a bit hickish. He, unfortunately, doesn’t have much of a filter and speaks out in the wrong places putting him on thin ice with many people in the community. Penelope’s family runs a couple of businesses in town, and takes offense at Aiden’s vocal representation of the village. Penelope makes it her business to get him to understand the value of this corner of the world and how he needs to bring people together to make his business plan successful.

Penelope is secure with her place in the village and with the world at large. She is open to changes but doesn’t view the Legacy Crossroads project as necessary as others do in the community. When she met Aiden, he was the first person to challenge her that might make her truly reconsider her ideas about complex.

The Village at Crossroad Corners series is based on Matthew 7:24-27. “On The Rock” is the fifth book in this six-book series. Download this clean romance book to make you feel good about yourself and your world.
