The courage of the heroine

Made my 7 hour drive a breeze! If I had not had this to keep me company it would have been unbearable.

Historical

Once again Danielle hit it out of the park. I wish it was a little longer, but still an excellent performance and story. I learned what was not in the history books.

I love the history, sad as those times were. I can’t imagine the courage so many had. It was wonderfully written and I loved the characters. Had me on the edge of my seat many times! I could picture all the scenes as if I were there!

Finding hope in horror

I’ve read many historical fiction books about World War II, but this one really brought the horrors of the time home. Reading it corresponded with a trip I had planned to Germany, Austria and Hungary. I had to stop listening to the book for a while, because it became too painful as I walked the streets and listened to the history from the local tour guides. I also took a tour of a concentration camp. The storyline and descriptions of the time are accurately depicted. The bravery of the character was inspiring and provided hope among horror.

Excellent story

It’s a story of bravery and courage in the most trying times of unthinkable horrors. Yet, good prevails over evil and love never fails.
