A sweet story overall

A fun listen for the most part. Female narrator's performance is a little forced at times - the way a kindergarten teacher emphasizes parts of a book. The lead female character is fiesty to the point of stupidity at times. The pacing of the book could have been tightened up. It has some well-developed characters, some passionate lovemaking. Overall a good listen.

Loveeed it

Loved the story. Especially because there wasn’t this nonsense will they won’t they. The attraction was there from the start and you got to watch it grow. Love it. 10/10

All six books was amazing

I loved all six of these books. Every character turn my world upside down. I thought I was apart of the book. Like I was actually there.

The best park about the series is that each book is similar but not exactly the same. As soon as you think you know what's next SIKE you don't. My favorite couple was Camille and Erik their chemistry is unmatched. The most annoying was Ally and her guy because she was just fighting herself the whole book, like girl he's sexy and you love him! stop! lol

I've listened to all 6 books. All of which are amazing but this one by far is my favorite 😍

out of all of the books in this series this by far was definitely my favorite I love me some Mafia romance story and the author hit it out of the box narrators I truly enjoy you guys together and you really bought the story to life I am so happy that I downloaded this I am so happy that it is going to my archives so I can go back to it in the future

DNF By CH 7

I'm not sure if I would have gotten further in the story if I had read it instead of listening to it (I only listen to stories while I'm on the treadmill).

As far as the narrators, I really enjoyed the male narrator. He fit the role perfectly and he did an excellent job. The female narrator was NOT a good fit. It was difficult listening to her parts. I almost did not make it past the first chapter. I decided to ignore the irritation at listening to her because I wanted to give the story a try.

As far as rating the story, the MFC is terribly unlikeable. She's the worst kind of doormat with a childish attitude. I couldn't stand any chapter with her POV.
Although I did like the MMC, it just wasn't enough for me to continue the story. By the time I got to Ch 7, I didn't get past two minutes before I finally gave up.
