Great book

It's a good book to start studying paganism. I really liked the narrator's voice, and the book has a general perspective that everyone can relate to.

Wonderful!

Very informational! I was addicted all the way through. This taught me so much that I didn't know I was lacking in my studies of the culture.

Great guide for establishing a practice

Beckett supplies a lot of practical advice and explains the mechanics, and philosophies, behind them in depth. It was an easy listen.
I took 1 star off of performance for mispronunciations which would have been easy to google (“geas” is pronounced “gesh”) and interrupted flow.

Wonderful Exploration

John is thoughtful and thorough in exploring this topic. I much prefer this depth to the first book he released on the topic. The narrator is good too, he has the right tone for the subject matter and is both engaging and soothing to listen to.

A Breath of Freshair

This book is a breath of fresh air. It is practical and frank about the subject matter, and explores beyond the typical 101 level pagan basics.

Great information & insights

I felt this book was indeed more in depth that beginner books, & leaves me wishing to go deeper yet. I wish there were more titles by this author on Audible. I've now purchased one on the Norse Gods before further developing personal relationships with them. Narrator was clear & concise. Would recommend!
