Story
It’s the summer before fifth grade, and for Ferris Wilkey, it is a summer of sheer pandemonium: Her little sister, Pinky, has vowed to become an outlaw. Uncle Ted has left Aunt Shirley and, to Ferris’s mother’s chagrin, is holed up in the Wilkey basement to paint a history of the world. And Charisse, Ferris’s grandmother, has started seeing a ghost at the threshold of her room, which seems like an alarming omen given that she is also feeling unwell. But the ghost is not there to usher Charisse to the Great Beyond. Rather, she has other plans—wild, impractical, illuminating plans.

The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. A great storytelling and inspirational book
This is my first time reading this new release of 2024 of one of my favorite series in the genre of fantasy fiction. Reading Pages And Co is such an incredible journey and I feel sad that Tilly's adventure had come to a close, but I really enjoyed the series so much. Anna James is the most incredible writer and I hope to become like her one day as a fantasy fiction author. She is such an inspiration. And I enjoyed her narrator, Aysha Kala and she has an amazing londonesque accent that I really admired. I love the book wanderers series and it had inspired me to always believe in magic.
