Very Entertaining

This was an excellent story that was very believable…dirty politicians and agents that had flaws.

Excellent Character Details

Great story, sympathetic characters, nice twist at the end. Respected and enjoyed the attention to the character details. Seems a well thought out plot and players. A bit graphic at times but more realistic for it. The reader was also excellent. I highly recommend!

Awesome Book!!!

This book is wonderful. Jerri is a wonderful story teller. She really built up the characters and made them real and made me like and care about some and hate others. I didn’t want to stop listening. I can’t wait for the next one in the series. Please don’t stop creating more Jerri.

Awesome listen! Good road trip audio book

I liked the main and supporting characters, they were believable as ordinary humans. The story was very interesting. I had already read the book simply because I love Jerri Williams’ podcast, but I enjoyed listen even more.

Don’t start unless you’re ready to get pulled in!

I bought this book because I love the pod cast Jerri Williams hosts.
I was pleasantly surprised. I finished this book in three days, and I’m a full time college student and I work 55 hours a week. I highly recommend this novel, and I’m looking forward to reading her next book Greedy Givers!

More than just an fbi thriller

So good! More complex than I was expecting, and had enough suspense to keep me going back for more and more chapters. Characters are well written!

Great Story From an FBI Insider

Would you listen to Pay to Play again? Why?

Yes. Author knows the inner workings of an investigation, and it is fascinating to see how it really works.

What other book might you compare Pay to Play to and why?

If you like the procedural aspects of Michael Connelly but with a risque edge, you will love Pay to Play.

What does Melissa Reizian Frank bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Superb delivery.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

You are very interested in the main character, and want to race through the book to find out her secret.

Any additional comments?

Author has a fantastic podcast that gives you insight into her writing process, and conducts interviews with retired FBI officers that shows she is a respected former FBI agent who knows the intricate details of how investigations are conducted.

A Wild Ride

Pay to Play took my by surprise. I heard about it through the author on her podcast and was intrigued. The world Mrs. Williams creates is alive. It feels real, tangible, you become fully engulfed in it. It is full personal struggles and vices that the characters endure. You care for them and their families feeling the their plights as you go through the story. Overall, I was very pleased with the book and enjoyed it. There were some moments that were graphic and shocked me, but they lend to the authenticity of the world she creates. Would I recommend her book, yes. But be ready for a wild ride
