About this listen

Tavi of Calderon, now recognized as Princeps Gaius Octavian and heir to the crown, has achieved a fragile alliance with Alera's oldest foes, the savage Canim. But when Tavi and his legions guide the Canim safely to their lands, his worst fears are realized.

The dreaded Vord - the enemy of Aleran and Cane alike - have spent the last three years laying waste to the Canim homeland. And when the Alerans are cut off from their ships, they find themselves with no choice but to fight shoulder to shoulder if they are to survive.

For 1,000 years, Alera and her furies have withstood every enemy and survived every foe. The 1,000 years are over....

Another excellent book, poor audio editing

The book and series are great! But the audio editing in this book was horrible, I kept rewinding as the narrators voice was changing and I thought I had skipped ahead. Turned out the editing was just really lousy.
Fortunately this problem was not in the previous books and has not been nearly as bad in the last. Thanks Jim, more please.

Satisfying and Entertaining

This book, along with this series is written well, read well, and builds upon itself superbly! I find myself satisfied and entertained at the end of each book in this series! Worth the time!

Great series

Brilliant the characters and world that he created are fascinating. Highly recommend Jim butcher knows his stuff, and how to world build totally worth the buy. I wish it was longer though his books are on the short side.

Great story & reader. Production stinks.

If you could sum up Princeps' Fury in three words, what would they be?

nice unexpected twists

What was one of the most memorable moments of Princeps' Fury?

Memorable moments are spread throughout the tale.

How could the performance have been better?

What happened to this book of the series? Kate Reading is as awesome as on the other books in the series but this one seems to have been edited for time. Very many abrupt restarts in the recording - I wonder if some parts might be missing but I don't think that happened. Just too abrupt changes all through out.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Several

Any additional comments?

Excellent continuance of the series. I'm eager for the next and sad it will be the final.

Love this whole book series So far. Looking forward to what's in store in the next books. And once again Kate Redding's readings always are entertaining.
