About this listen

Zac was a straight A student, class president, most likely to succeed, but by the age of 25, he was a college drop out. Zac peaked too soon.... He was once the golden child who was ever blindly falling forward. That is until tragedy stops him short.

Now, failing out of college, he begrudgingly moves back home, with frazzled over protective parents and an older sister who can no longer stand him. Lost, he finds solace in old acquaintances and new friends that causes ripples of change in all of their lives.

Private Waterloos is a Southern family dramedy, where those around us help the other in finding our purpose, lasting love, and acceptance against our tragic pasts.

A beautifully written Southern Family drama with a hint of romance!

This story is not your conventional romance but it revolves around relationships between friends and family.

This was refreshing and so very different than I expected going into this one.
I was pleasantly surprise that the story's focus was more on friendships, building bridges, second chances, learning to trust and so much more.

I definitely recommend this beautifully written southern family drama with a hint of romance.

Miller Steven's audio delivery was very engaging and enjoyable.

A Wonderful, Emotional Story

This story definitely takes you through a whole spectrum of emotions. From the book description you know to expect something big that brings all of the characters together. As the main event is revealed in pieces throughout the story, I felt hope, joy, anger, hope again, anger and disbelief, shock, and finally happiness. I was thankful for the humor sprinkled throughout. Zac was able to find new friends in Betsy and Jesse, and reconnect with his own family. I loved his grandma Carmen! Although the story mainly focuses on Zac, the other sub-stories were all woven together so beautifully. By the end, everybody was on their way to healing and getting on with their lives. Miller Stevens did a wonderful job bringing life to each character. Thank you Shane K. Morton!

I kept waiting for this to get good

It had a lot of potential but ended up very pat snd cloying. None of the storylines developed any richness.
