Excellent Novel

Danielle Steel nice job at adding crime and mystery into your novels of romance. And the narrator did a great job.

A suspenseful tale with excellent storytelling, brought to life by a narrator who vividly detailed each character.

I felt that some parts of the story were overly long and repetitive, which slowed down the momentum and delayed getting to key moments. But overall it was a great story.

Okay enough to get through, with patience

Cons: absurdly slow narration and horrible writing style. The author repeats the same ideas over and over again, to the point where I'm constantly cringing. There are few descriptions and a lot of telling instead of showing. The book could use more direct dialogue instead of "He asked about her health. She said it was fine. He thought that was good to hear."

Pros: the story itself is actually good.

This book was hard to get through.
I kept waiting for something to happen. Even the ending was dull. I would not recommend.

Very enjoyable!

It has been decades since I read a Danielle Steele book, but after this one it won't be that long until the next!!!

I enjoyed listening to the story. I did find it very repetitive and predictable. I am a loyal fan though of Danielle Steel. It was still enjoyable.

Considerably different from her usual stories. Predictable in a good way. Was completely entertained.
