Dummies guide to not getting sued

This book is very thorough. I felt as though they covered every possibility. It’s not a very exciting subject per se but I do feel they made an effort to make it interesting. One of the themes seems to be how not to get sued. It’s mentioned at least once in every single chapter. Some times that felt a little redundant but I guess it was necessary.

a great book for newbies

I would recommend this for anyone who currently owns less than 6 units or is new to the game

Too long - but thorough book

Very focused on possible litigation that can occur when dealing with property management in the United States. I believe any possible kind of problem has been thoroughly covered.

I would have enjoyed a more concise audiobook though. Anything beyond 8-9 hours needs more justification in my opinion. Had to 2X the speed in some areas.

Very thorough

Long, but very thorough. Definitely directed at large apartment complexes, but there was still plenty of information for folks like me with single-family homes and small multi family properties.

This book is haphazard random basic info

1. Book is too long and it’s all over
2. They seem to be not clear on who their audience is and just trying to do too much

Very Stiff, Stuck Up, and Slow

The author constantly states the obvious and takes a long, long time to do it. I also wish it included more specifics on what type of maintenance needs to be performed and how often.
