After spending several decades as a teacher of behavioral statistics, the author, who became internationally regarded for his pedagogical prowess, desired to create a textbook that would apply the most effective classroom approaches to the printed page. This book achieves exactly that by utilizing a variety of different strategies, such as timely pointing and highlighting devices, strategic reviews and reminders, a focus on the most relevant material, and opportune anticipation of the student's perspective.
