Story
In a rarified world of scientific research, a revolution has been brewing. Its activists are not anarchists, but rather Nobel Laureates in physics and economics and pony-tailed graduates, mathematicians, and computer scientists from all over the world. They have formed an iconoclastic think-tank and their radical idea is to create a new science: complexity. They want to know how a primordial soup of simple molecules managed to turn itself into the first living cell--and what the origin of life some four billion years ago can tell us about the process of technological innovation today.

We are in the midst of a global mental health crisis, and mental illnesses are on the rise. But what causes mental illness? And why are mental health problems so hard to treat? Brain Energy will transform the field of mental health, and the lives of countless people around the world.

Hilarious, fascinating, and a roller coaster of dizzying, historical what-ifs, Napoleon's Hemorrhoids is a potpourri for serious historians and casual history buffs. In one of Phil Mason's many revelations, you'll learn that Communist jets were two minutes away from opening fire on American planes during the Cuban missile crisis, when they had to turn back as they were running out of fuel. You'll discover that before the Battle of Waterloo, Napoleon's painful hemorrhoids prevented him from mounting his horse to survey the battlefield.

When Edmund Hillary first conquered Mt. Everest, Sherpa Tenzing Norgay was at his side. Indeed, for as long as Westerners have been climbing the Himalaya, Sherpas have been the unsung heroes in the background. In August 2008, when eleven climbers lost their lives on K2, the world’s most dangerous peak, two Sherpas survived. They had emerged from poverty and political turmoil to become two of the most skillful mountaineers on earth. Perfect Guide for Chicken Raising Business
Although I've always had a few backyard chickens, I’ve always been curious about starting a small chicken farm, but I had no idea where to begin. This audiobook made the process seem way less intimidating. It covers everything from the basics of raising chickens to the business side of things, which is exactly what I needed. I had no clue there were even grants available for something like this, but now I feel like I’m better prepared to look into it. The advice on marketing and writing a business plan was super helpful too. It’s practical, easy to follow, and gave me the confidence to take the first steps toward turning my hobby into a business. If you're a beginner like me, this is a solid place to start!

Wow! Who knew I could earn money raising chickens!
This audiobook is jam-packed with a plethora of information, not only about the concept of raising chickens, but also how you can set up a business doing it, earn money, and get all kinds of government grants and subsidies for doing so. I was hoping to just learn how to raise chickens for my own personal use--you know--maybe get a few dozen eggs a week and the like... for me and my family. But this audiobook has opened my eyes to a much bigger picture. I'm floored and I highly recommend this audiobook!
