Why Choose Romantic Suspense

Rebel Obsession by Elle Thorpe is a why choose romantic suspense that I listened to on audio narrated by Michelle Sparks, Michael Gallagher, Gregory Salinas, and Troy Duran. This is the second book in the Saint View Rebels series.

I love Elle's books! She does an amazing job pulling me in from the very beginning and I can't help but binge her books in one sitting. I am loving the relationship between Rebel, Fang, Vaughn, and Kian. I loved getting Rebel, Fang, Vaughn, Kian, Caleb, Bliss and Kara's points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ended on an amazing cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait to dive into the final book in the series Rebel Heart so I can get the rest of their story.

Michelle, Michael, Gregory, and Troy did an amazing job on the narration. I love when a book is done with a full cast. It really brings the story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this series if you're looking for a why choose romance, dark romance, or romantic suspense.

Love Saint View and Rebel, but almost DNF

I have loved all of the Saint View books, they’re so good! But this one took forever for me to get through, and there were moments when I didn’t know if I was going to finish it. I found the characters more annoying, immature, and ignorant in this, well over the other books. And maybe it’s just me, but Rebel really felt TSTL here, which may have been one of the biggest issues for me to get past. There’s a lot going on in the story, so I am curious to see how it all plays out. I will say that there were some good twists I didn’t see coming, and of course, some good spice. Though not quite as good as the other books in my opinion.

Performance

Really enjoyed the performance. Some of the other books in certain scenes they seem so fake. This one the performer seemed more into the story.

Long

Long overdrawn book could’ve been shorter. Doesn’t need to be 3 books. Ugh smut is ok I guess. Not a lot and it’s just drawn out.

Series going strong 2 books in…

I’m enjoying this series. It’s entertaining and written well enough to keep me listening. Hope it stays the course.

great performance and story. really enjoy and like to listen in the car. easy to follow and great plot.

Love the book and narration

This story has me in puns and needles and gets better in every turn. The narration really makes it come to life. You just want to jump in the story and right some wrongs yourself.

Impeccable Narration

The performance of each Narrator is of the charts! I feel like I can see the expression in their faces. Between the writing and the narration, the listening experience has been utterly awesome. I never read anything from this author before and was actually dragged here following Michelle Sparks, but I will definitely read/listen more of the series from the beginning.

Troy Duran’s Narration!!

Interesting story. Narration is very good. Added sound effects are unusual but take you into the story.

Not a standalone

Holy wow! Book two. This women has a lot of sex for someone who has been raped. The plot grows even bigger and our foursome gets even closer. The narration is outstanding! This book does not standalone. You need to read/listen to book one first. This is a wonderful story with so much suspense and a ton of sex. Book three, here i come.👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤
