Good message and content, sad tone from narrator.

This was worth it for me. My parish priest gave it to me as a gift after we had a nice conversation.

The audiobook chapters and hardcopy chapters are not in synch with each other. If there is an opportunity to edit the chapter listings for accuracy, that would be an improvement.

I played this in the car with my wife, and she shared that the narrator came across as a bit depressing. Granted it could be seen as a heavy topic, but an updated reader may be a good idea for an anniversary edition in the future. I would recommend this to a friend who was looking to review the role that Catholicism plays in their lives.

Excellent book about Catholicism

This book is very well written. Matthew Kelly does a great job at explaining Catholicism. He explains why Catholics have certain beliefs and traditions.
I highly recommend this to anyone who is Catholic and has questions about their faith, non Catholics who want to learn about Catholicism, anyone becoming Catholic, and those who just need to “brush up” on their Catholic faith.

Motivating Book

Author does a great job speaking to the person I am and where I am in life’s journey. The takeaways are practical and designed to bring us closer to God but not any God-Jesus.

I always enjoy reading and listening to Matthew Kelly. He has a lot of wisdom and knowledge to share and this book did not disappoint. I learn more about my faith with every book.

Ine way to understand simplistically catholicism!!!

I have heard chapters of this book over and over driving on my way to work carious times.
I found it very easy to understand basics of what some of us cradle catholics need to understand and remember to practice when we say 'i am catholic' and what voluntarily compromise it entails...
Highly recommended recommend this easy rewarding and reading/listening valuable book!!!

Life changing!

I have always been Catholic but for the better part of my life, I was just a lukewarm Catholic. Recently, I have chosen to work on my relationship with God and decided to read this book. It has truly been life changing, providing me with guidance on how to become closer to God, to become a better Catholic and ultimately spurred me to strive to become the best version of myself that God has designed me to be. I am more aware of how my actions can bring me closer to God or push myself away from Him and have made conscious decisions to change my day-to-day actions to be more Christ-like. Thank you!
