Love the idea of combining a NR and JDR story
Great idea. I liked both stories, but I'm struggling with how Dallas gets everything right. And how rude she is to everyone around her. Maybe I just need a break from the series, but this wasn't a favorite. also, the narrator changed Dickie's voice. That was unusual.

Better than I thought!
Buy the two together it's well worth it. I love the Nora Roberts book and the love story that went with it. Then I love how it went to the future for Eve to solve. it really came full circle and it's good to see what happened to the characters of the past. If she hasn't already I would love to read more stories about Lane and Max. Loved it.

Apparently I prefer J D Robb to Nora Roberts
I just couldn't make it through the first book. There was nothing wrong with it but it just didn't capture my interest. The second book, the Eve Dallas book was good. Although there is a tie between the two stories, it's not really necessary to have read the first in order to understand the second.

Always love Nora/JD !
I read the books when they were first published and since I always enjoy Susan Erickson's performance, thought I would give them a listen. I would h ave to say neither was really up to the high standard typically found in Nora Roberts novels or JD Robb's IN Death series, but it was enjoyable never-the-less.

The past lives
This combo was awesome! First part was sent in our present day second part with Eve and Roake in summer of 2059. Great story differently worth the read. Susan Erickson does an awesome job as always.⚘⚘
