About this listen

Rich Kid Smart Kid is written for parents who value education, want to give their children a financial head start in life, and are willing to take an active role to make that happen.

In the Information Age, a good education is more important than ever. But the current educational system may not be providing all the information a child needs to thrive in today’s fast-paced, ever-changing world. This book was designed to fill in the gaps and to give your child the same inspiring and practical knowledge that Robert’s rich dad gave him.

Rich Kid Smart Kid will show you how to awaken your child’s love of learning. It will open doors that many never knew existed and give parents the tools and skills and real-world experiences (financial field trips!) that they can share with their child, knowledge he or she can use for the rest of their life.

Are you worried that school isn’t preparing your child for the real world? It probably isn’t. Rich Kid Smart Kid can bridge that gap.

Everyone please read Robert's books! Please!

If you could sum up Rich Dad's Rich Kid Smart Kid in three words, what would they be?

Rich-Dad followup book

What other book might you compare Rich Dad's Rich Kid Smart Kid to and why?

I would compare the information in this book to Robert's first book Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Much of the same information is included, but it does have a helpful flow of information to offer help to parents.

Which scene was your favorite?

I appreciated the stories from Robert's childhood experiences. I also like the information about the Kolbe Index. I will be researching that further!

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Rich Dad's Rich Kid Smart Kid?

Keep passing the information along to every generation - both Kids and parents!

Any additional comments?

Robert, thank you so much for the books you've written. If I had a hundred copies of the original Rich Dad Poor Dad book, I know exactly who I would give them to!

Lots of Great Information

I have read several Rich Dad books. A lot of what he writes repeats itself in each book but every book has gold nuggets of information. The only reason I marked this audio book down is because the reader is very monotone and hard to listen too.

Robert T. Kiyosaki never disappoints!

This audible was a great eye opener to how we perceive money and how do (and I'm contrast, how we should) teach to our kids. While some examples might start to get outdated for our times, the fundamental concepts behind are (and will remain) valid (like "savers are losers").

Superb education

This is the kind of education I wish I would have received when I was a child. It's never too late, and I feel absolutely blessed to have this now especially because I'm a parent. I get to change my family tree's finances! What a blessing. Thank you. I'm glad to call you my Rich Dad!!!!!

great learning

I loved this book. I was not raised in a home in which financials were discussed or taught. everything positive about money I learned on my own in my adult life. this book introduced me to new concepts and gave me real examples of guidance to teach my son money lessons. i'm excited to learn these lessons early in my son's life to understand how to transfer knowledge and teach him financial freedom. although my son does great academically (straight A's) he is only 6 and his path could take any direction. this book encourages me to push him to explore the genius in him! using the techniques and tools in this book will help me mold him through his financial life and give me the confidence to leave my assets to him, of which I've worked hard to acquire and maintain. great book to listen to, would definitely recommend it to others.

More about his poor dad

In this book he does speak a lot about the school system and his poor dad and what he learned from those lessons in life. If you've read all his other books the information is just a good reminder or add on.
