Publisher's summary

Seven years ago, Cambri Blaine fled her small hometown of Bridger, Colorado after her senior year of high school ended in a fiasco. But now her father needs help, and Cambri has no choice but to return home. So with trepidation, she takes a leave of absence from the landscape architecture firm where she works and heads home, hoping against hope that Jace Sutton is no longer around and that the past can stay where it belongs: in the past.

If only life worked that way.

Jace never expected to see Cambri again. After she walked out of his life without a backward glance, he was left with no choice but to try to forget her and move on. But now that Cambri is back and looking more beautiful and sophisticated than ever, some of those old feelings resurface, and Jace instinctively knows, for the sake of his heart, that he needs to avoid her at all costs.

If only it were that easy.

Just right!

Filled with real people who have real lives, this title is the right choice of book if you want an enjoyable journey with light comedy and a healthy dose of clean romance. I love how Rachael Anderson knows exactly how to pull you into the hearts and lives of her characters. Her thorough descriptions and just the right amount of conversations create a very pleasant journey for the reader. Choosing to read Ms. Anderson's books is always the right choice!

cute but not memorable

It was cute, very light. I didn't like it as much as the others. It didn't have a lot of character development or substance. Not bad, just not memorable.

The story was ok

I think it was the narrator that disappointed me. She read fine but lacked believe-ability. The characters did not come alive. Sorry Lara

GOOD CLE AS N STORY....BUT

Good clean story, but just couldn't listen to the narrator. it sounds like you are being read to by a young girl. Sweet sounding voice but just doesn't know how to narrate a story without it sounding like she is reading a book to you. After having listened to over 500 books the are only two narrators who have made it to my "Avoid at All Costs" list. Lara Amundson is on the list.

Narrator wasn't for Me

This story was excellent. I'm a big fan of Rachel Anderson. But I was not a fan of the narrator. I thought I was listening to a person speaking to children most of the time.

Ripple Effect Series Book 3 ~ various authors

Touching story of family healing and renewing love. Cambri left for college and never came home. Her best friend, Jace, stayed, finished school and took over the family business, but now Cambri is home to care for her ailing father. Can Jace forgive Cambri for leaving without saying goodbye? Will Cambri recognize she cares for Jace and give up her life halfway across the nation? A sweet HEA book.

This is #3 in a 6-book, multi-author series. Books 1 and 2 are MIA, and I have not seen them anywhere to even identify them. Books 3-6 are the four books available in audio format.
