great series
I love this series just cant get enough of finn and mary. they make an awesome couple even when their not together they seem to know what the other is up to and usually it is not good. You never know what these two are up to and they seem to have eyes in the back and sides of their heads. what ever you do don't turn your back on either of them you may be next on their hit list.
I highly recommend this series.

I can't get enough of this series!
I just finished this book and just can't seem to get enough of this series. I love these characters and the mystery that continues in each book. The relationship between Finn and Mary is so complicated and in each book I wonder if he should be trusting her or if she is just playing with him. They are both so dangerous! The story unravels and as it does it just creates more questions and suspense. I love it! This author sure does have me hooked on this series. David Bosco continues to be amazing as well. I can easily picture every character as I listen along. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator.

Great series
Great series, wild adventures.
Mary & Finn are still running around doing some crazy stuff and killing people. All this while working on their relationship. And sometimes destroying boats!
David Bosco does an amazing job narrating.....as usual.

More intrigue
This is the fourth book I’ve read/listened to by this author and I would listen to another. I am loving this series. Every book brings something up to make me question Mary’s true motivations/loyalties. Finn is continuously working through the complex relationship between himself, Mary and his connections. The jobs they acquire and situations they get into deepen the overall story thread- like going deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole. But the story is not heavy, it has an airy roll-with-the-punches feel and degree of humour that is a nice touch.
This is the seventh book I’ve listened to by this narrator ( David Bosco ). He does really well performing the books he narrates. He brings the story to life and personalities to each character. I speed up stories I listen to and I find I speed his up a little more (2x speed), but since his narration is so clear it sounds great.
There are no explicit sex scenes, excessive violence. There is some swearing.

Another great listen!
You can't go wrong with a Finn Mystery! I was listening to another book when this one became available. I thought I would finish that one first before picking this one up but nope, this book kept calling me.
I'm a total fan of this series and I have not missed a single book! Finn and Mary are still assassins righting the evils of the world. In prior books, Finn was working for the government. In this one, not so much.
There is a mysterious bad guy lurking in the background and he wants Mary to work for him. Finn is having none of that. I loved this listen!!
Bosco's narration continues to be warm, compelling, inviting, and real - all those ingredients that make audiobooks so special. I checked for the final book in the series and alas, it is not yet available. I can wait. (Not really.)

Great Series - Highly Recommend
I received this book for free. I am voluntarily posting this review and all opinions expressed herein are my own.
This is the fourth book in the JR Finn Mystery Sailing Series. If you have not read any of the books leading up to this one, you will be lost. There are multiple references to events which occurred in the prior books. Although the author provides quick summaries to bring you up-to-date, you really need to start at the beginning ["Assassins and Liars"] as there is so much character development and intrigue - you will not be disappointed.
I am completely captivated by this series. The relationship between Finn and Mary is so complex. Each book reveals a bit more about Mary but as I read each book, I still question whether or not she is being honest and whether or not Finn should be trusting her. In the back of my mind, I just keep thinking she has some sort of ulterior motive for latching onto Finn. But with each book, I have more questions and always seem to suspect Mary’s true motivations and whether her professed loyalty/love for Finn is actually real. The author may just be playing with the readers, or as Finn frequently says, "You're just overthinking it."
The narrator, David Bosco, has become one of my favorites. He has a way of narrating engages your attention from the very beginning. I know that once I start a book narrated by him, I will usually finish it in one binge listening session.

The Narrator does a fantastic job with the Audio its like listening to a show and you can imagine the characters and see them in your minds eye. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, I could not stop listening its that captivating. This is definitely a must read or listen series.

Assassins finding their way together...
Sailors and Sirens: Vigilante Justice in Florida and the Caribbean (The J.R. Finn Sailing Mystery Series, Book 4) by Charles Dougherty and narrated by David Bosco is another fantastic addition to the series! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a new mystery or just a great series. The story and narration flow in all the right ways. When you start any book in this series, you’re going to want to listen straight through- you’ve been warned.
What’s it about? The story picks up with Finn and Mary working for Forces, only this time, Mary has an agenda of her own. The first half focuses on Finn and his jobs with the pair reuniting about half way through. There’s some action (though not as much as some of the other books), return of previous characters, a little romance, Mary’s history, logistics, new enemies, sailing elements, Mary learns the ins and outs, and more. This is one that keeps you guessing as you never quite know if Mary is on Finn’s side or on her own and I’m still not sure (that’s a good thing). The beginning gives a brief recap that wasn’t too long or too short. Make sure to start from the beginning if you are new to the series or you will miss key elements and a great story/narration.
David Bosco did an outstanding job once again. He nails the characters and helps to make the story a great one. He’s on my list of narrators I’m following- do yourself a favor and check out his other narrations.
“Put it behind you. It’s all in the past. We can’t change the past and you mustn’t let it ruin our future.”
Overall I highly recommend, this series is one that I will be listening to again.
Parental guidance/trigger warnings: I will be keeping it minimal due to spoilers. Death (the MC’s are assassins so think about what comes with that profession), talk about prostitution and being sexually abused, sex indicated but not in detail. Language used: Sx13, some damns and hells.
