Finished in one day

I loved Olga’s candid perspective throughout her journey. Seeing her beloved Czechoslovakia/Czech Republic transform from a communist to a free society was a beautiful parallel to the journey she was on from atheism to Christianity. Hearing how integral Yoga was to this journey was fascinating. it was amazing to me that something so simple could help find like minds who were interested in having more joy in their lives and looking for something deeper.  I found myself cheering out loud and crying tears of joy as I experienced the highlights of Olga’s story.

Incredibly Powerful Story

Olga gives us a peek into a world that lots of us think we know something about, but almost none of us have any experience with. She offers a truthful, personal, but also irresistibly reasonable perspective on the hopelessness of growing up in a communist society. Then she shows us the marvelous empowerment that comes when you embrace faith, love, and community and believe in your own ability to make your world better, now matter what obstacles you face. In a time when we face unprecedented divisiveness and conflict in our society, Olga’s story shows us how to transcend the propaganda of every political voice and choose simple Christlike morality: goodness, kindness, love. Olga spread light in a world of darkness, and her story gives us hope that we can do the same.

Inspirational and Excellent

The narration is masterful and gives voice to this joyous accounting of Olga’s, inspiring story of heroism and true dedication to her spiritual calling. After listening to this book, I feel moved to implement so many of the beautiful things Olga book introduces. I truly recommend this read for anyone looking for a little inspiration, motivation or just a great story about the strength of the human spirit and what can happen when we stopped to listen to God’s voice in our hearts.

Olga, you are truly such an amazing person. Your story is so inspiring... and so relevant in our current, crazy,volatile political climate.

Great Listen

I really enjoyed listening to Olga's story. What an amazing story and woman. I liked the narrator also.

This is a real life epic!

The story is enthralling. It pulls you into to a world beyond what we in the west could truly understand until recently.

It is a story of finding your way in the dark world, where you have to find answers one small step at a time because the realities of life punish you for not fitting in with the “norm.”

As a western child of the Cold War I am grateful for the human touch this brought, to those in my childhood and youth, I foolish thought of as the “enemy.”

It is a marvelous work and wonder to see another, different, story of how the Lord has a plan and path for each of us.

All this being said, I know the author and feel as if I know and understand her better after listening to this book.

Her wisdom and love for others, which I never doubted, now has a why. And I am honored to have heard it.

The modes, methods, and patterns of her life, voiced in a simple but beautiful way, can be used as a guide book as you walk your own path in this crazy world.

Engaging and uplifting!

Olga does a beautiful job of explaining her life in the country of her birth and the many opportunities given her by a loving Heavenly Father. She is always an inspiration to so many.
