Matteo and Heaven

Interesting with Heaven and her brother as co underboss to their father. Only he is a screw up that lands them on the radar of the Cartel. Her dad seeks the help of Matteo who agrees but only with a marriage to Heaven as payment. She is not happy but eventually agrees. There is so much in this story betrayal, deception, passion, action, and twists. Good narrators.

I found this very boring, I don't know if it was the narrators but I found myself zoning out in other thoughts while listening or trying to listen that is.

Great start to a series

Savage ruler had what we come to expect from the mafia genre and one I haven't read much about: a strong heroine in the mafia. Matthew and heaven had instant chemistry from the start and made for some sizzling scenes when they were intimate. There was betrayal, action commaction karma and annoying characters that you wanted to smack lol. Sarah and Tor did a great job narrating and I think their voices seemed to match the characters and their personalities.

Had Potential

This felt like like an early draft of the story. The transitions felt abrupt, and the character changes too quick. There were some great concepts, but it needed some refinement.

The FMC lacked a level of calculation, and follow through.
The female narrator didn’t help. How can you mispronounce so many words?

Male narrator was great. MMC was a better version of many gangsters in perception of woman in business.

Loved this book!

This book was truly great to listen to, and I ❤️ the male narrators voice. He's perfect to play Matteo. Overall, the storyline was great. I just wish the rest of the books were on audio, too.

Decent mafia romance

Savage Ruler is book 1 in the Sinfully Savage series. Mateo and Heaven’s story was a fast paced mafia romance. While I did enjoy their story overall, I felt like their connection and mafia world could have been better developed. Although the blurb states there is no cliffhanger, the ending felt like a cliffy.

Tor Thom and Sarah Puckett did a good job portraying these characters.

Tor Thom sounds like he's reading a school essay

Great Story. I love Matteo and Heaven. Great character development. Great "bedroom" scenes. Sarah does an okay job reading, but Tor's reading is so monotonous. I love the timbre of his voice, but no feeling with any of his reading. I ended up buying the ebook instead.

I really enjoyed this book. I love their chemistry and how they met. Can’t wait for the next book. Sarah and Tor did an amazing job at narrating

This is a sinfully hot story with a touch of darkness. The plot is mafia with an arranged marriage. The way this story opens grabs your attention from the beginning and has you hanging on until the very end. Highly erotic with BDSM. Matteo and Heaven are hot from the get go with flames igniting. The characters are both very strong and have more in common than they think. The story is filled with action, suspense, betrayal, lies, secrets, family, passion, love, so much more and great twists.
