This is the first book in the second arc (books 8-14) for The Kurtherian Gambit. The stakes are raised a lot higher!

Please note: There is flagrantly foul language in this novel. The main character does not have a problem with cussing, just uninspired cussing.

If you haven't listened to the previous books, you will need to go back to number one (the book does not explain the characters and previous relationships/deeds).

As a avvid reader and audio book listener I love this series. I have never reviewed and books but I will these. Great listens. I would rate this up with my favorite goto book magicians apprentice. Love the narrator. Great job.

I'm down sick again and have 3 books I can listen to while recovering, as well as reading some more.
This book was amazing. I loved it. I am hooked in this series now. I poorly waiting to see the finished series with all the books that have come out now.

Good book!

Interesting book! Not as much fighting action in book 8 as in prior stories but plenty of sci-fi building. The team has to consider public relations, security, legal aspects, cyber attacks, dark groups, & personnel issues all while planning the build on the moon. The narrator did a fantastic job as usual!

Slow but gets there in the end.

All the action happens in about the last 20 mins of the book, which makes you think he wrote it as a novella and then deliberately padded it out enough to satisfy the editor it would pass for a book. But, by now we are used to his style of writing, (so inclusive we get to find out what colour underwear the characters are wearing) and if it wasn't what you were after you wouldn't still be buying it, right?
So we're all still here.
The cast of thousands is getting a bit confusing at times but the story is still entertaining, and Emily Beresford deserves some sort of narrators award. They should have an Emmy or a Tony or something for the number of characters she has to do.
Roll on space travel.

to the other and the narrator thank you both of you this series has been a godsend. I'm somewhat of a speed reader I go through books like most people flip through magazines. So it gets hard to find new material to read. And as you might know or expect it gets even harder when authors make short series I like the longer once because it gives me characters I can identify with and keep reading about. This series is kick a**. Thank you Michael and early and thank you Emily be restored for your contributions we appreciate you.

Revenge Is Sweet

I absolutely LOVE Michael Anderle's books! I listen every time I have a chance, in my car, at the doctor's office, EVERY time. They're so well written, I don't find myself thinking "Why didn't he say it like this..." and the editing is wonderful. I'm such a grammar nazi.
To hear a woman, even a vampire woman, be so powerful, so sure of herself is refreshing, in Bethany Anne. Her male characters are truly drool-worthy. Her fellow female characters are just as admirable.
I'm really enjoying the dramatized versions, but I wonder why they are shorter than the read versions?
