Great narration

Kathleen Early’s narration was really good. Her inflections brought out the humor. Made me laugh out loud.

needs an update...

I loved it, but I need to tell you that the Key Arena is now completely re-done and upgraded to become the Climate Pledge Arena and the hockey team is called the Kraken.

My favorite from this author, do far!

Terrific! Unique plot (aside from HEA), great characters - MC and supporting - the development of each was super. Hockey details made it more believable.... I love a good underdog and Comeback story.

2 tiny cons.
#1 The sex scenes, are recycled for other books. Always the same step by step. the 1st time I hear/read them I admit a little rough but hot (except from one that was almost violent but that's for a different review), HOWEVER once you've heard the same scene over and over including her feeling him hit her cervix (? really ? come on), it gets boring 😴. I pray she learns variety, it is the spice of sex after all.

#2 There were weird long pauses fron the narrator. so long I need to check if I was offline or buffering. Otherwise narration was very good

Fun Rom Com!

Interesting characters, witty dialogue, fun plot and enough steam to get your blood pumping. This is the second book in the series and definitely worth the listen as the narrators do a good job of bringing already well written characters to life. I'm ready to listen to the next book in the series!

Worth every sweet minute of Jane’s and Luke’s story. Never give up.

The reason why I enjoyed this book was for the heroine. She was a nice departure from the typical romance. She wasn't a super model, but wasn't always body shaming herself (well not enough to make you feel sorry for her anyway). She was fiesty but not in an annoying way. She had guts but was also able to be sensitive. Overall, the book doesn't seem to take itself to serious and is funny and heartwarming. Worth the credit.

Except for the conflict at the end I loved the story! The chemistry between Jane and Luc was explosive, their banter fantastic!

Loved Kathleen Early. She did a great job and portrayed the characters perfectly!

This is an old one. I'm so glad it's finally in audio. Rachel Gibson is an automatic buy for me. I love her mix of humor and romance. If your looking for a fun read with a good amount of humor you can't go wrong with this one. I highly recommend it!

Could have been a favorite but ..

I understand that it was written a while ago but the sexism and misogynistic stuff seemed extreme for current standards. Otherwise it was brilliant! The voice actor did an amazing job. The flow of the story never got boring & the laughs were good.
