HOW EXCITING! I WOULD LOVE TO GO ON A SHADOW RIDE

The Ferraro family serves justice when the legal system can't. They live in our modern day. They're not immortal or live for hundred's of years. They age just like everyone else. But they are a gifted family. All family members are born with the gift of knowing lies from truth and the very special family members can also ride shadows.

Only Shadow Riders can produce more shadow riders. If they don't find their true match (their shadows reach out to each other) then they have to go into an arranged marriage. There's more to it but this is all I'm going to say.

When someone needs help they tell their story to the Greeters who can tell truth from lies. If the Greeters give the go ahead then other family members investigate before the decision is made for the Shadow Rider's to serve justice.

This story grabbed me from the very beginning and I couldn't stop listening. It moves at a good pace, no internal whimpy dialogue. It's intriguing, full of action, suspense and mystery. It also has Hot, Hot sex and sexy as hell alpha males and a beautiful kickass sister.

Jim Frangione is an all consuming performer. I was curious about the premise of this story but Jim Frangione is the reason I purcahsed it. I've already listened to this book twice before writing this review and I'll listen many more times while waiting for book 2.

Christine Feehan is a new author for me. I'll be on the lookout for more of her books.

Loved this one!! Great start to a new series!! can't wait for the next one!

Good start to a new series.

Overall this is a good start to a series. i am looking forward to the next book. It has a new twist and I think that is what I like best about the book. Some of the points get repeated a bit but overall a five.

Ok WalMart. I'm back.

I have been a CK fan and voracious reader for the last decade but at a more somber rate these last four years. I almost jumped ship when she abandoned the Night Walkers to go back to her Carpathian series. At that point, I watched as a popular new series died and the old saw was dragged out and reengineered. I hope that will not be the case with the Shadow Riders. They're a fresh new concept that will have the fans asking when is the second coming out. And for the readers sakes, please stay with Jim Frangione as the narrator. Some of the earlier choices for narrators were so bad I was soon back at my favorite WalMart elbowing into the Paranormal section. I think it's safe to say that This new series has all the markings of a great success!

Christine Feehan Does It Again!

I enjoyed this story immensely! I can't wait for the next Shadow Rider to be published. I read it twice and enjoyed it as much as the first time

An action packed romance

Christine Feehan always makes me feel caught up in her stories. Shadow Rider is no exception. Stefano and Francesca’s story kept me up late and even had me driving around to nowhere just so I could finish one more chapter!

Careful of the dark

l really enjoyed the tale that Feehan weaves in this book. The primary male character is intimidating and charismatic. He cares deeply for his family and his neighborhood. He works very hard and does very bad things to very bad people to help the vulnerable. Frangione does a great job on the narration, too.

Loved it!

Loved it however the protesting female is tiresome and way to many love making scenes. Less of both of those would make it so much better.

Always love her books

I always love Christine's books. Shadow Rider was no different and I am looking forward to other books in the series. I would have preferred a female narrator and the sex scenes to be less numerous and drawn out but other than that it was really enjoyable!
