Publisher's summary

Sophie Kinsella has conquered the hearts of millions with her New York Times best-selling Shopaholic novels, which feature the irresistible one-woman shopping phenomenon Becky Bloomwood. Now Becky’s back in a hilarious, heartwarming tale of married life, best friends, and long-lost sisters (and the perils of simply having to own an Angel handbag!).

What’s a round-the-world honeymoon if you can’t buy the odd souvenir to ship back home? Like the Chinese urns and 20 silk dressing gowns Becky found in Hong Kong...the five kilim rugs from Turkey...the splendid hand-carved dining table (and 10 chairs) from Sri Lanka...the, um, huge wooden giraffes from Malawi (that her husband Luke expressly forbade her to buy)...

Only now Becky and Luke have returned home to London and Luke is furious. Two truckloads of those souvenirs have cluttered up their usually immaculate loft, and the bills for them are outrageous. Becky’s even maxed out on her second secret credit card, and she doesn’t have a new job yet! Luke insists she go on a budget. And worse: her beloved best friend Suze has found a new best friend while Becky was away.

Becky’s feeling rather blue - when her parents deliver some incredible news. She has a long-lost sister! Becky is thrilled! She’s convinced her sister will be a true soulmate. They’ll go shopping together, drink cappuccinos together, have manicures together, and watch their favorite videos together.

Until she meets Jessica for the first time and gets the shock of her life. Surely Becky Bloomwood’s sister can’t...hate shopping?

Really liked the narrator

I was skeptical to listen to the fourth book because it was a different reader than the previous books. I ended up liking her as much, if not more. The story took some time to get into but became my favorite of the shopaholic stories.

Read before you narrate!!

I LOVE the shopaholic series, however i wish that the narrators would have listened to the 1st 2 books so they knew how to pronounce the names and the worst part is in the next book, the narrator gives Eleanor Sherman a london accent instead of an american accent.... there should have been crib notes for them at least.

good for the 20-ish set

cute story ... don't bother, though, if you're older than 20-something. the narration is very good.

Love Becky!

While the sister is exactly what Becky called her, I always love a Becky Bloomwood story. The sister story felt kind of like when they brought Cousin Oliver onto The Brady Bunch but it turned out better in the end.

Raspy voiced reader

I really did not like the narrator. She just did not portray Becky as convincingly and at times it was difficult to determine the switch of characters because the narration was not well done. I'd still stick with Emily Gray or Katherine Kellgren.

Disappointed in narration...

but great story, nonetheless. I was used to Emily Gray being Becky Bloomwood. I've started Shopaholic and Baby an it's a new narrator there too. All great narrations, just thought of Becky as Emily Gray! Don't know why the changes. However, I LOVEEEE the series... I can already tell I'm going to miss Becky when I'm all done!!!

First of the Series I Liked

I totally disagree with everyone who thinks that Emily Grey was the better narrator. This is the first of the series that I laughed out loud and actually liked Becky. I HATED her in the first three books because the narrator portrayed her so whiny and dithering.

Great Book, Great Narrator!

I am a HUGE FAN of Emily Gray, the narrator of the previous 3 books. I wasn't even going to get this one because of the disparaging reviews over the new narrator. BUT I HAVE TO SAY: Josephine Bailey NAILED IT! I thoroughly enjoyed the book, and her take on Becky and the gang. Worth the purchase...
