Excellent story

This was a really great story with some interesting twists at the end that I didn’t see coming, which is kinda unusual for me so bravo Stephen Fry. The characters were well written and the story believable. I’ve listened to better narrators but this one was decent and did not detract from the story. She did a quite reasonable job. Overall, I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for an excellent thriller/whodunit.

Really enjoyed this book

Kept my interest throughout and is the second book by this author that I have listened to. I also like The Chairman and tried this one. Had lots of twist and turns and was a unexpected ending. Will read more from Stephen Frey

Please don't bother

Any additional comments?

I rarely ever write a review but I believe I owe it to fellow Audible Listeners. To put it simply Silent Partner was lame. The plot lacked any substance. It was predictable and not entertaining. The narrator couldn't remember to be consistent with her accents for a character. I love listening to audiobooks but this was a complete waste of time.

Letdown after The Chairman

I liked Stephen Frey since listening to the Chairman and Protege. I am half way through this book, but I am finding it hard to continue. The narrator does not help as she can't come close to the level of other Stephen Frey books. The old family Southern racial stereotype and the crusade against racism is getting old. You need to up your game Stephen and stick to strong narrators like Scott Brick.

Left Wing Rhetoric

It was like listening to a sermon from a naive lefty. Couldn't get through it all...
