Re-read/listen material

This is a re-read; or listen if you will, for me. There is just something about these characters and story that has me in a chokehold.

Rafe is absolutely delicious. Penny, oh Penny, is THE IT girl! I have such a crush on her. She’s everything I want and love in a female character.

The narrators added to this story ten-fold and captured the characters so well. Every character has their own voice and tone. This is the top of narrating that makes you appreciate audiobooks and the work and dedication that goes into the production.

Hands down my favorite book

I’ve read this before but decided to listen this time around and I am so glad I did! Love this series but this book is amazing!

cliff hanger???

didn't feel complete. the ending felt like a cliff hanger of sorts but like 10 more chapters were missing.

Great performance, but I felt there could be more romance

I love the voice acting on this book. I know there is a third book in this series that is a continuation of this so I’m not upset at all the plot holes, but overall it was good. I definitely recommend reading the first book before this one, you will be missing a lot of context if you don’t.

I really like this story! The writing is first rate and the storyline is fantastic. It’s a continuation of the plot from the first book, but told from the viewpoint of Rafe and Penny. It’s a cliffy, but I’m definitely excited to get started on the next book. The narrators are excellent as well!

I liked Rafe! I didn’t think I would like anyone other than Angelo…but Raphael did it for me. Rafe is all charm and wing tipped shoes, that is until Penelope (Penny) comes crashing into his world. The narration was great, both of them fit the characters and the writing. I have the sinner series on my shelf—I went straight back to audible to get the second of the duet. I’m making myself take breaks, because if I don’t do that, then the story will end 🫣🤭🥹🤣🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Came back for my second helping of Rafe and Penny…and DELICIOUS it will be!!

Reread - and SO worth it the listen!!

This audio was not only done well BUT it brought this whole book to life. The tension between Penny and Rafe was already so charged BUT NOW…holy moly🫠 worth a credit without a doubt.

I wish there was more

The ending felt abrupt and unsatisfactory. I wish there was more to them ending. Other than the ending, the story was great! The performance was amazing!

Nice continuation

Enjoyed Rafes story alongside his red headed vixen, whose relationship slowly escalates in this enemies to lovers story, leaving a cliffhanger at the end to pick up in the next installment. The narrator’s did a fantastic job with the narration of this one. Their banter is great!
