This is Dr. Rickey McCray's personal story about how he forgave and reconciled his relationship with his father after years of abuse, disappointment, and betrayal. The journey to forgiveness was long, hard, and full of obstacles and disappointments. He found out he would have to fight with everything he had for a relationship he once desperately ran away from.
During the reconciliation process with his father, he discovered his own faults and flaws. He not only learned to forgive his father but forgive himself and become a better man. Forgiveness and reconciliation are not just about healing a broken relationship. It's about healing what's broken in you.
