Love the book and the audio

AIt was a fantastic book and a great audio! I love the series. I wish it could continue for at least 2 more books and, possibly, audio books too.

very nice abridgement, but...

This reading does bring you right into the action, expressing the emotions very well. But it's too short! I whole heartedly recommend reading the book for a more detailed and encompassing version of the story. Fans will be able to hear the voices of their favorite characters in their minds as they read. The more complete version of this story is even more satisfying than this well rendered audio version. Either way, it's easy to become emotionally involved and invested in Spock's reunion with his son. However, if you have only a limited time and need to be hands-free, this audiobook is a very good way to spend a little time in the Star Trek universe.

A good book with no space battles.

I picked this book randomly because I was looking for some trek. It was not a bad book. I was just looking for a book with space battles.

Short but good

I listened to this book while fishing in virtual reality before work.
it was a good read. although abridged, it was very good and I thoroughly enjoyed it while castibg my reel on the shore of a beach on a rainy day in south Korea . The production was really good with the voices of Leonard Nimoy and James Doohan. the production included Audio FX. and original theme music - easy read and enjoyable while I'm in my own " holodeck"

Beyond logic there is love

Spock returning to the past to attempt to save his son ,shows a more human side of Spock. He couldn't just walk away without trying to be there for his son .
in the end both father ,son and time itself won .
wonderful read . Thankyou
