Although I’ve always thought of myself as an entrepreneur, I realize now that I didn’t have purpose. To me it was a just a way to make a living on my own terms. Start with Why has given me an entirely new perspective on how to succeed with purpose.
I highly recommend this book for anyone serious about starting their own business. This is an invaluable tool for your toolkits. Dig deep, Start with Why, and change the world.

Great for motivation on whatever you do in life

I really enjoyed this book. The back stories to many companies was amazing and really shows how companies thrive or fail when when looking back at why they started in the first place. The stories are many times repeated in different ways but the repetition is important in remembering the message. This is something Nathan Hill and Zig Zigler did in many of their books. I highly recommend to listen to this book when wanting to go out in anything that you do.

Excellent book!

This is an excellent book that I’ve heard a lot about over the years but have never gotten around to reading until now. I plan on having my leadership team read this important book and for us to continue to seek to start with why in everything we do.

Must read not once but several times

This was one of the best books on business I have read “listen to” in a long time. This information is necessary to make all the other business advice work to their maximum. “Starting with Why” is the only way to run a business, and more importantly make it flourish. I needed this!

I am 7 months into the launch of a new business. I am in need of answering the "why" and I think I have a good answer and I need to make sure my customers realize it. it is a very dark and difficult time for me at the moment and this book might be the very inspiration that makes success a reality. Time will tell. I would recommend this book to anyone operating their own business. ideally this is a book you should read before you launch your business. But it's just as applicable to someone who's already been in business.

Start with "why" when you think about it, it's such a simple concept, but it's actually a lot deeper than you would think. This book make you go through a mind switch on every aspect of your life and the skills you leatn from here will acompony you for the rest of your life!

Your How and Your What Must Reflect Your Why

Simon Sinek explains in the book that "why" is your belief, "how" is an action, and "what" is the result. Simply, by acting upon shared beliefs, and having the results reflect those beliefs, you can inspire others to take action and become loyal to your cause. He has so many excellent examples of good and bad leadership, and explains the importance of selflessness.

"Start With Why" has changed my perspective entirely. Now I always try and understand the why. Since listening to this book, I have been asking more of the right questions and been able to create solutions. Also, I now have the ability to analyze a leader's "what" and "how", and determine their "why" if it is not entirely clear. When the why isn't clear or it's not right, that's when I know that I need to take action. I've begun to notice that my leadership who fail to explain why (their beliefs) might be doing so on purpose because they are ashamed of it. They know they are wrong, but it's out of selfishness that they continue this way.

Inspiring and mind-blowing

This book fixed my broken perspective and recentered my heart. The idea seems simple, but Sinek shows us so many examples of where not starting with Why fails or why losing your sense of Why is devastating. This is a great read/listen for anyone, businesses, churches, non-profits, or just individuals. Get ready to be inspired.
