Russell Brand has resuscitated my heart

Your brilliance, wit, wild but disarming charm and grace have seen me through the darkest time of my life. My challenges have not been ones of addiction, but that was the great crisis of my youth. My father is in recovery. Forgiveness, atonement, radical kindness, faith in one another, mercy AND Justice rather than either, faith AND reason, rather than either, striving for balance through equanimity and practices of oneness as the goal and the fulcrum of the tipping scales, and mentorship - even if from a voice far away but so close in my headphones - yours, Russell Brand and the joy and abandon, courage and deep wisdom of your example- these things are salves in a toxic world. You are a healer, rock star, and you are loved. Thank you so very much.
