Jesus Loves His Enemies

- What has been your previous experience of trying to love your enemies?

- Can you identify the parts of your heart that resist Jesus or are opposed to him?

- Do any of these characters or stories resonate with you - the rich young man, Peter, Martha, or the older son? If one of these stories resonate with you, I suggest you sit with it in prayer and invite Jesus to love that part of your heart that resists him.

The Rich Young Man: Mark 10:17-22

Peter: Luke 22:54-62; John 21:15-19

Martha: Luke 10:38-42
