I requested this book from free audiobook codes.com in exchange for a honest review.

I had requested this audiobook and sadly, it got lost in the mix. I realized it was way past due for a listen so I just added it to my queue without refreshing my memory as to what it was about. So I was listening and enjoying it, thinking this would be a coming of age story then surprise!! There’s more! The story took a Lovecraftian turn and I ate.it.up. I enjoyed this so much!! Daniel Dorse reads this and he does such an amazing job. I loved all his voices. I think this is only my 2nd Tim Curran read (I don’t know what’s wrong with me either). I loved this one and have already recommended it to some friends. I need to read or listen to more by this guy! He’s really good!

Tim Curran is an author not to miss!!

A fairly tame tale for Timmy. You can’t escape some of his vivid descriptive prose though and dude knows how to write a hell of a story.

One of my all-time favorite authors.

Flynn is having a hard time at his new school. Its going pretty bad until he meets a couple of guys that offer to help him out. Now he owes.

It’s never good to be indebted.

Especially, when the pay back comes calling.

Breaking the Pact

Symbiosis is more like a nightmare than a horror story. I loved the story and the ramifications of trusting the wrong people. Flynn was bullied after attending a new school and in walks Chad his savior or is he. Chad introduces Flynn to two guys Toddy and Bones little does he know these guys are truly not what they seem. Flynn unwittingly enters into a pact that will induce fear in him for years especially when payment is due because they don't want money they want the thing that is closest to your heart and Chad knows this all to well. Can Flynn break this pact and send Toddy and Bones back to where they come from or is their power to strong? Daniel Dorse does a hell of a job as the narrator his voice is smooth with a tinge of dark noir like a old detective movie. I received this book from Audiobooks Unleashed and this is my honest unbiased review. I absolutely loved this book and would recommend it to anyone over 18.

Very interesting story

This was a story of the ages. What people will do to succeed and how that can come back to bite you. This was a mix of horror, suspense, sci-fi, coming-of-age and more. I got a little lost with the story jumping back and forth between past and present and some of the characters in the story. All around it was an interesting story and likely to appeal to a wide audience.
