About this listen

Avery, Ax, Falcon, Cosmo, and I had stumbled upon something suspicious; something that was going on in my city right under our noses. A new drug had popped up, affecting only the paranormal community. People were starting to go missing, and those that we caught started babbling about how he was going to take the Syndicate down for good.

That was never going to happen. No one ruled the criminal world but us, and we don’t mind making a mess of anyone who stands in our way.

Following a bloody battle, I was saved by someone I never thought I would see again, someone who was supposed to be dead. Someone who belonged to the Syndicate.

I needed to get him back.

Right as we began to unravel some leads for both our missing heir and the drug problem, my dad and the other bosses went missing. Can’t a girl catch a break?

We needed to get our dads back, we needed to stop whoever was controlling these drugs, and most of all, these heirs better fall in line because I am Rayla Desmond, the Syndicate Queen, and I don't need any Kings.

love the whole book and these narrators!

just as the title says. these narrators are some of my favorites. they really make the authors story come to life. they do even bad books justice but, when you have a great story like this one... it's awesome!!

Soooo good!

This series was so good! I especially loved that it didn’t drag in the middle like a lot of books. And the crazy dads had me laughing the whole time!

This is honestly my favorite performance by the Bordeaux’s. True duet narration really is amazing and Jake specifically did such a fantastic job with SO many male characters. There was no confusion on who was speaking. Like seriously how?!

Read It!!

A really good series, I have been wanting a storyline that involved the supernatural world but it was like a mafia type feel. I really glad Kira Stanley was able to make a story like that from the danger and the romance and stuff. Loved the different personalities of everyone in the book. This is my first listening to Bridget and Jake Bordeaux and they did an amazing job. You can distinct each character by their voice, which is had with just 2 narrators. Will definitely keep this for a series to reread in the future.

I Effing Love Crazy FMCs

This book was soooooo good. I love the FMC, she is strong willed, kinda cruel, bloodthirsty, and just all around badass! I wish there would have been more femme representation, the FMC is like literally the only woman. Sausagefest for real.. I mean all the women (spoiler) in these fams lives did get killed off so that does explain why lol otherwise I loved all the characters and they were all so unique and funny lol I loved Lex, his obsession with her was so sweet (dark romance sweet lol). Great fun wrap up to the duet! Spice scenes were okay.. I would put the books at like a level 3ish🌶️🌶️🌶️ and plot a 4, kinda predictable but the overall story was entertaining as hell and I had to much fun so five stars. Narrators were great. I loved the way the FMCs dad was portrayed it reminded me of Dracula from hotel transalvania lol same vibe. Their relationship was so cute too
