an entertaining story but...
an entertaining story. The narrator is a good one, his voice inflections are good at separating characters. Now let's talk about production and editing. first, shorten up the pauses between chapter divisions. half the time I thought my timer had timed out. second, you don't need so many chapter breaks. I realize you want to keep the interest up during the big fight scene but you literally broke a chapter at times after 4:00 or 5 sentences. That's just wasting time. and it kind of put a little bit of a damper on the overall experience.

Good Story. Bad Narrator.
This narrators voice makes lead character sound like a weenie. I love good guy killer books. Would be better if main character sounded tough.

This narrator was horrible!!
Narration intonation pattern was so difficult to hear!! I wish I had not purchased this book! I am hoping the best in the series is different.

Horrible Narrator
It took many chapters fir tge plot to unfold. It felt like forever since the narrator was so sing- songs ans melodramatic. It was like a Saturday Night Live spoof of a reporter interview.

Great Story! Different Narrator Please
I have enjoyed every book Brad Lee has put out. The story is just what I was hoping for. The Narrator, not so much. Please, please find a narrator who makes the characters strong, not breathy wimps. Sorry, I’m sure he’s a nice man, just needs to read a different type of story.

Narrator too dramatic with inflection
Narrator was a turnoff compared to previous Brad Lee series…. Also, too many flashbacks, I understand trying to build a backstory but I almost turned it off for good. Kept flashing back without making a point till near the end.

Totally wrong narrator for this type of story, I loved the previous series, but I would not recommend this one.

Target redacted
I have listened to four of this authors books and loved them. This one was mundane and I kept trying to listen but finally I am giving up. After chapter15. The voice made me fall asleep. I will listen to “the team of five” when it is released.
