The Greatest Western Writer of the 21st Century

The MacCallister family is legendary on the American frontier. And wherever a MacCallister travels, the legend - and the guns - follow.

Fight Like the Devil

When Duff MacCallister journeys to Texas to deliver 100 head of Angus cattle, he finds a land on fire. Unruly, lawless teams of fence cutters, branded Blue Devils by the locals, are rampaging across grazing land and cutting fences in the name of an Eastern land company. The ranchers are fighting back, and Duff joins the fray. But the fight leads to Austin and into an even deadlier mission.

The governor's daughter has been kidnapped by Blue Devils. Duff and his partner, Elmer, are willing to go after her, but they're going to need more men and a lot more firepower. The best the governor can do is three outlaws who once served honorably in war. Now Duff MacCallister is going up against a fanatical, highly trained enemy, riding with gunmen he cannot fully trust. Once the shooting starts, there is no turning back - because Duff and his posse are heading straight into the bloody depths of hell.

GOOD STORY

Liked this book and The Narrator is good as he always is. A lot of at times comical statements and the Gunslinger heroes don't make mistakes!

Unpredictable and well-written

This was one of the best stories by the Johnstones. Definitely entertaining!
Just LOVED George Guidall!! I actually searched for books narrated by him to find this one. I first started listening to him from the Longmire book series. George Guidall is the BEST!!

Great Story

Highly recommended, the storyline was great and was easy to follow, without being overly detailed in scope.

Great Read

I’m a bit biased towards Louis L’Amore, so it’s delightful I come across a story teller that can hold his own against the ‘Great One’!

Texas Justice

I enjoyed the location shift from Wyoming to Texas, introducing new characters and towns. The narrator George Guidall was as always superb.

Thanks.

This is what westerners are all about when one has grown up and lived most of their life outside any city. The people one meets (older people)in their younger lives have a great sense of what real life is about and l hope that you live long enough to ??

Ten Guns from Texas (Duff)

This is another great adventure in the life of Duff. In this book there's a gang rustling cattle. There using cutting fences on public land as an excuse. Duff ends up helping the ranchers and they call themselves Ten guns from Texas. This is one of the best storylines. There all good but this one there should be an extra star for the plot. They kidnap the governors daughter and Duff and his group has to rescue her. I like how they keep underestimating the China man. There is a Big showdown at the end. I have listened to both versions and there both good. If my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you.
