Publisher's summary

A Teton romance trilogy and Yellowstone romance series holiday crossover novella!

Lucas Walker's life couldn't be more different from a few years ago. Now married and expecting his first child, he wants nothing more than to provide a good home for his family. With Christmas coming, he sets off to find the perfect surprise for his wife.

As Tori Walker approaches the time for her baby to be born, she is comforted by the expert care that surrounds her. However, winter in the mountains can turn deadly at the blink of an eye. When her prankster husband fails to return from a short hunting trip, she doesn't know whether to be angry or worried.

Christmas is a time to reminisce and enjoy family time. Young or old, all who gather in the Walker home this holiday can share memories of falling in love, being saved from near death, and not being able to imagine life without each other. When Lucas and his companion are feared lost in the wilderness, this holiday season may well be remembered as the season of mishaps, rather than a season of joy.

Teton Season of Joy!

Wonderful author, wonderful narrator and a wonderful story! I spent a lovely afternoon listening to this sweet audiobook narrated by Steve Marvel, one of my favorite narrators and written by my favorite author, Peggy L. Henderson. Filled with family and old friends along with a new birth to celebrate this most wonderful time of the year, kept me contented as I wrapped all my Christmas gifts. Peggy l. Henderson filled in enough back story for each character, so you can enjoy this audiobook as a stand alone. Afterwards, you can check out Yellowstone Romance Series and Teton Romance Series from where it all started. JudyE

Good story that make you keep listening.

I had read this story before but listening to it now brought back all the reasons this is a very good novella for Christmas.
Peggy Henderson can really write a wonderful and beautiful story. I love the Teton series and her Yellowstone series and this brings characters from both back together of a joyous time of year. Lucas is s rascal or he was but now he is so in love with his wife Tori who is about to deliver their first child. This is based in the early 1800's in the time of rugged men and women who lived in the rugged and early times of the Teton and Yellowstone areas what we now know as the National parks.
Of course there is so much going on in Peggy's stories and this one is no exception.
Men who love their wives so much to bring them happiness and in this case a Christmas tree. But they had to go out in very deep snow to chop one down. All kinds of things can happen in deep snow where you can't see the dangers.
You have to listen to this story and maybe read it as well either with the audible or by itself.
I liked this narrator as well and he did a good job in changing voices of women and men and he did the characters very well.
I highly recommend this audible and the book. I recommend any of Peggy's stories and this is a good short story for the holidays even if you aren't familiar with the characters from the stories. It will give you the taste to go back and read her stories in both series as the characters are so good you will want to read all the books.

Great addition to both series

What a fun Christmas story to combine both the Teton and Yellowstone stories.! I must say though, if it’s gonna go wrong, it will in this story! Lol!
The narration was too slow for my liking, so I ended up listening at 1.5 speed and was able to enjoy it more. However, I will say, that I listen to a lot of audio books. A slower narration might be beneficial to someone who isn’t use to listening as much!

Perfect for the Christmas season

I really loved the Teton and Yellowstone Romance series, so this is the perfect story for someone like me who loves romantic Christmas books and movies. I just can't get enough of them. So it's awesome that Peggy Henderson wrote this story with our well known and loved characters. I love to see what's going on in their lives after their original love story has already ended.

I don't want to spoil anything, but if you liked the other books (which I know you did), then you will love this even though it is a novella not a full length novel. Also, the accuracy of this book (and the whole series) is the best you could ask for. The descriptions of the area are so well done that I truly feel like I've been there before.

The same narrator from the Teton series is back, who I think does the characters really well!

What an adventure!

Loved being with the Walkers and Osbornes again! Lucas and Chase together - what could go wrong? They have good hearts and are trying to stay out of trouble, but trouble seems to find them. Lots of twists and turns! Peggy did a great job refreshing our memories on the characters' stories, and reminding us how deep their love is. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Frat Christmas story

Peggy has done a wonderful job with this story, I love to listen to all of her books. I really get involved with the characters, and it makes you feel like you’re there witnessing everything. Good job at bringing the families together. Keep up the good work and I look forward to more.

Great story to listen to while preparing for Christmas

This was going home to Yellowstone for me. This book ties in closely the the Yellowstone and Teton series by the author. I haven’t read the Teton series yet but was still able to gain an understanding of the characters and their relationships right away. It was a fun and easy listen while I I cleaned my house and got ready for Christmas and helped get me into the spirit I highly recommended it.

Sweet Christmas Story

This was such a sweet story. Jumping many years in the future, we see the natural progression of our favorite, loved characters. Lucas and Tori are expecting their first child. Celebrating Christmas with his extended family isn't what she would choose, but it will make her husband happy. Lucas and Chase decide to surprise Luke's wife and Chase's mother in law, and knowing the two of them, well it doesn't exactly go as they wanted.

This is another wonderful story of the season of life, love and joy.

Get the whole series: You’ll be glad you did

If you’ve never read any of Peggy L. Henderson’s books, you’re in for a treat. She has several series and they flow together beautifully, with characters reappearing in other books. This is the 4th (short) book in her Teton Romance series. It can stand alone, but will be more enjoyable if read with the others.
Peggy’s characters are well-developed and relatable. That’s the strength of her book. Deep, real, lasting, romantic love relationships are forged in the fire of adversity. The backdrop brings to life a vital part of American history, the settlement of the Wyoming and Montana territories. The early pioneers endured hardships which are portrayed vividly. Be warned: you’ll want to read them all, and you’ll definitely want to plan a trip to this wild and wonderful parr of our nation.
