Fatima, Portugal, 1917: The Virgin Mary appears to three peasant children, sharing with them three secrets, two of which are soon revealed to the world. The third secret is sealed away in the Vatican, read only by popes, and not disclosed until the year 2000. When revealed, its quizzical tone and anticlimactic nature leave many faithful wondering if the church has truly unveiled all of the Virgin Mary's words or if a message far more important has been left in the shadows.

I really like the way the author takes history and creates an adventure story with interesting characters and a lot of geography. He enhances the facts to create a good story, but always does his research. At the end he always disclosed what is fact and what is fiction.

Very Entertaining
Before I got this book I read the reviews, first this narrator is just fine I foud this very easy to listen to. The subject matter may challenge your accepted ideas on the Bible, but we learn all the time. The story moves just fine, but maybe a little predictable. I travel often and have between 200 and 300 books on audible to I listen too, this one will be replayed. If you pass it up it is your loss.

Hey, it's Steve Berry.
Steve Berry: Flat characters, impossible plots, questionable dialogue, everything the critics say is pretty much right. But, these books are entertaining and will get you through just about any road trip without too much thinking.
Mr. Berry may never win a Nobel for literature, but he writes a good, quick moving "shoot 'em up" mystery in the style of the old Shadow or Doc Savage dime novels.

good till the end.
The book is good, reading is good. You move quickly through the story & feel drawn into it.
The only problem is the same with most of the "DaVinci Knock Offs (historic thrillers"...... bad or incomplete ending. The lack luster "keep the status quo" endings are junk & we have seen it a hundred times before.
Don't know if I will read the author again.... seems like another guy trying to cash in on the fad without a well defined story ....beginning..middle... end.... simple reciepe

Couldn't turn off iPhone
If you could sum up The Alexandria Link in three words, what would they be?
Cotton Malone rocks!
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Alexandria Link?
Too many to choose
Have you listened to any of Scott Brick’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Scott Brick at his best.Very consistent and definitely makes the book.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
yes
Any additional comments?
Hope Scott Brick continues with other novels.Having been an audible book fan for years, I can definitely say the narrator is just as important as the book. When the two are congruent, the result is a masterpiece that can't be put down!Other narrators that I highly recommend that comes immediate to mind includes Peter Jay Fernandez and Johanna Parker.

Good read but a little slow
The Templar legacy drew me in right away. I'm a history buff and this is a fun way to learn some history. I almost stopped listening a few times but so many of Steve Berrys other titles and subjects in the series interested me that u didn't want to miss a book or read them out of order. I'm not a huge fan of the Narrator Scott Brick. He's not as talented as other narrators when it comes to different character voices. All in all I'd say this book is not my favourite but it's good in its blend of action and history and worth the read!

Excellent, smart, complicated
I enjoyed this book very much; the narrator was excellent. The story is complicated and it is sometimes confusing when the reader switches characters. This book is very similar to Dan Brown books, so if you like those, you will enjoy this -- maybe more.
