The best book of series

Now this is a good book, it had a great storyline and held my attention. The narrators did a great job with character development. Heather was best as Miranda. The things that happened to Drak was so wrong; but he was a badass warrior; my kind of guy! Hope there will be more books like this; a book about Gar would be nice.

One to many rescues

Pretty good, but by the 3rd rescue I was rolling my eyes at the unnecessary drama when it could've been filled with more romance or world building. Still fun and loving, but more on the action side for sure.

Audible doesn't have the rest of the series available yet (January 2022) or the spin off series with Rex and the other warriors, but I'm hopeful they will be licensed/released soon as I do plan to continue listening to them.

Loved it

This was such a touching story. I cried a few times. Loved the characters so much. I loved it. The one thing I did not like was the female narrator. She was not as good as the male. Her voice was too “raspy”. But, otherwise recommend the audiobook!

Add the rest ASAP

I love this series and want to purchase the rest of it as soon as it becomes available. The sex scenes are hot and the story line is great. Characters are brought to life well by the narrator. I am tempted to purchase the regular books soon if audible does not get this rest of the series soon.

This one definitely threw me for a loop! But it’s so dang sweet!! And sexy ;)

Black lawyer with bad eye sight main character

Enjoyed the story but sad author missed the chance of black American LAWYER relating to slavery of Africans & forced breeding for profits of American OVERSEERS being similar to alien overlords wanting warrior slaves..BUT WORTH THE CREDIT. will follow series. btw the earth has 88% Asian population. Strange aliens never seen to capture the MOST POPULAR RACIAL group. SERIES IS WELL WRITTEN & STRUCTURED

loved all 4 books, she's a wonderful author, I'm addicted to her books, writing style and her stories in general, she's an artist with words...I'M NOT VERY HAPPY WITH AUDIBLE THOUGH, Ella Maven has a library of books written and Audible has NOT contracted with Ella to publish all of her books and that is a huge shame. So, after some research I found all her books and I am going to that source to get ALL of her books. Ella Maven is worth it.

More sweet than sexy

This wasn’t as fun as the prior book, mostly because Miranda and Drax have traits that get in the way.

Miranda is nearly blind, which could’ve gone down like a Mr. Magoo caper. Instead, it constantly puts her in peril because she can’t spot danger. Miranda is also one of those TSTL gals, leaving the safety of a fortress, alone, to pick flowers. Seriously.

Drax has been in exile for 15 years. He’s got no memory of his prior life. And he can’t talk. So, yeah, mute amnesiac loner who doesn’t know how to interact with anyone, much less females. Fun times. Not.
If you’re going to go for a Beauty and the Beast thing, you’ve got to make it fun.

The author’s oral fixation is still here and the nooky in general is still clunky. The bad guy aliens continue to be nameless redshirts with nonsensical ploys. However, the use of the F bomb is mercifully pulled back in this installment (including less of the made up fleck-bomb). This book also lays groundwork for the next, although you could skip it and not be too lost. Further, I liked that the other couples and future couples interact with Miranda and Drax in the second half.
I just wish there had been more fun and less broody.
