Gut-wrenching prequel

I absolutely loved this book. It was enthralling and just as good as I had hoped. It did, however, destroy me.

Superficial brat

Even though the first stories have been more than enjoyable, the FMC has turned out to be absolutely lame. No development, wanting to go but not ready to leave anything behind, how childish. Plus, in such a cruel world and such dangers she’d remained untouched. How unrealistic is that. The best of the best who has her b* kicked at every turn or needs help to succeed. Such a vain superficial kid unable to look away from expensive things. Where is the growing of a character?! A growth with such starting material is as impossible as unreal the possibilities that such a vain person could spark such a strong love in a man.

The narration the only reason I’ve listened up to chapter 43 without skipping anything. After that it’s been a steady skipping just to understand where it’d lead to.

It’s Okay!

To give credit where it is due, the execution of this book is commendable. Telling the story through multiple stories with each interconnected is cool.

Thanks to readers before me, I followed their advice and read this after book 2 and it genuinely helps. Though the narrative is elongated to its maximum and some of the tales are just not worth the time, it’s a book that can be heard once.

very interesting story, the plot twists were a little predictable but non the less dramatic. i loved all the characters except the toxic ex arobynn (i truly hate the guy) but overall i enjoyed it. and the narrator is very good

The story was so well written. Kept me on the edge of my seat all the time. Could not wait to finish it.

Excellent

I so enjoyed this book! I read it first before starting the series. Honestly I would suggest doing it this way because TOG picked up right where this left off. The narrator did an EXCELLENT job!! I thoroughly enjoyed her, she brought the book alive!

Worth the read!

Some sections seemed a bit slow for my liking but overall I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I cried my eyes out, I laughed out loud and I was truly shocked by the twists at the end. I went from hating the main characters, to having a deep understanding for her, I care for her deeply and am very keen to find out more. Very well written!

Excited to listen to the rest of the book series.

Awesome book and awesome writer

I’ve listened to this book series so many times I can’t remember. I have these books at home and I’ve read them all 3 times but I listen to them on audible when I’m just chilling!!

Its a good entry book, the end was great tho i gotta admit

its all a bit cringe at times, the dialogue is written for 10 year olds, which is not in essence bad but leads so some terrible exchanges. Also men are written so basic - and theres sexual tension with like 40 year olds when she is 16.
