Love this

Such a sharp contrast to the most influential men in today’s world. We need to be more like Ben.

Fantastic Book!

My favorite past was the letters B Franklin wrote at the end of the book in chapter 20.

Hard to understand for a non native speaker.

The book is revealing many personal thoughts of Franklin that are really interesting to be heard today.

Get transporter to a different century

I loved the language of the book. The way words are strung together transports you to a different era. There is a lot to learn from this book not just about the life of Ben Franklin but also about life and industry in general.

I found a new life long hero.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is the book that Davy Crockett took to his death bed. There is a reason for that. Once you finish the book you will be so impressed with the mind, frugality, tact, sociability, and wit of this man. He is a hero.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Benjamin Franklin

Have you listened to any of Qarie Marshall’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I started a virtue journal.

a fascinating man worth studying

Ben Franklin's daily schedule is often talked about in productivity circles , I wanted to learn more about the man than second hand, 2 minute articles that flood the internet. his autobiography really is something to listen to multiple times and digest. you may miss everything it teaches on the first go round, but it's worth the time investment.

I really enjoyed the book. it has inspired me to start looking for more biographies and autobiographies of great people to learn more about. if you are personal development or productivity focused, it covers his virtues, routines , and practices to improve his life and has given me better ideas than what I would have learned elsewhere to improve my own.
