Not New To Autoimmune disease good for newbies

I liked the narrator. Interesting book. I am struggling to find the pdf to utilize.

Great information

Very eye opening and I’ll practice her suggestions. The only recommendation I have is for easy access to the PDFs for those of us who don’t buy a hard copy. Can’t find them.

where is the PDF enhancement?????

the book was very informative gave lots of tips for those dealing with autoimmune disease. But the audiobook refers to PDF enhancement and appendices which are not provided.

Narrator infuses too much opinion and condescensio

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Okay up through the first 5-6 chapters. After that, I couldn't listen any more due to the narrator's interpretation, which seemed to get worse with each successive chapter.

What made the experience of listening to The Autoimmune Solution the most enjoyable?

I'll be honest, listening to the narrator was a little painful. Her tone of voice was awful and sounded fake. It was hard to get past the narrator to really dive into the material. I much prefer doctors to read their own material, and after hearing Dr. Myers online, I prefer her voice. However, when I had to "speed listen" on 1.5x or higher, the narrators pronunciation was perfect. Just try to get past her voice, because the material is worth it.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The narrator spoke in an almost newscaster fake style voice. The same style used in other audio books that I cannot stand. I've heard this same voice before.It just sounds so fake and unnatural. Nobody really speaks like this in real life.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The content is a game changer for anyone suffering from gluten intolerance, ADHD, autoimmune diseases, adrenal fatigue, and more. it is HEAVY in science which is great for me as I already have the basics down, and I learned that my health issues I thought I conquered are actually tied to a genetic mutation I had NO IDEA was linked to these problems. IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW! This doctor also gives us valuable info to prevent us from going into further complications from our health issues, and it may very well save someone's life! I now see that I am right in my instinct to cut out inflammatory foods to my 3 year old son who is healed from FPIES, but very sensitive to other allergens. I see that he might have the same genetic mutation I do, and we both might not be out of the water yet unless we do further testing. THIS BOOK IS A GAME CHANGER. It's loaded with valuable science, multiple resources and highly valuable information. The author has clearly spent a lot of time on this book.

Great information, but with a sales pitch

Great information overall that was very helpful to me. The problem is that we don't get the PDFs that she talks about so there is no information to follow her plan unless you buy it in her website.
